It’s Matchday 27 in the German Bundesliga and Bayer Leverkusen looks to continue to pull away from the pack and remain unbeaten in their quest for the title. Let’s break down their game this weekend and all of our top Bundesliga predictions here.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim Prediction
This game will see 1st playing 8th.
Leverkusen are still the only team in Europe’s top 5 league’s that are undefeated across all competitions (38), so why stop backing them here?
Hoffenheim may be 8th but across the last 18 matches in all competitions they only have 3 wins, just 2 wins in 13 and their last two games have been a 3-0 loss to Stuttgart and 3-1 loss to Frankfurt. On the road, Hoffenheim has only won 1 game in 9, and has allowed multiple goals in each of the past 7.
Hoffenheim have given up 50 goals against which is more than seven teams below them in the table and only better than Bochum’s 54 and Darmstadt’s 65. Hoffenheim has also given up the 2nd most shots on target in league.
Bayer Leverkkusen won 3-2 on the road in November, and last year Leverkusen won 3-1 and Hoffenheim won 3-0, both winning on the road. In 7 of the past 8 meetings there have also been 3+ goals between them,
You have to look towards a Bayer Levekusen win in your Bundesliga predictions but like on the spread at least of -1.5 for better value or for score multiple goals with Hoffenheim contributing. For this Bundesliga soccer parlay, we’ll ask Leverkusen to score 2+ goals, something they have done in 10 straight games.
- Parlay Picks 1: Bayer Leverkusen Over 1.5
Werder Bremen vs Wolfsburg Prediction
Next up in the Bundesliga predictions parlay is Werder Bremen vs Wolfsburg. These teams are separated by 5 points in table, with Werder Bremen 10th and Wolfsburg 14th. But neither are in good form.
Wolfsburg haven’t won a game since December 16, a run of 11 games. They’ve suffered 3 straight losses by scores of 3-1, 2-0, and 3-2 and have allowed multiple goals in 4 straight.
Despite the lack of wins, they do usually score, with BTTS being 9-2 in their past 11. But they have been shut out in 2 of last 3 road games and have conceded a goal in 16 of past 17 on the road going back to last April.
Werder Bremen’s good form has quickly tailed off, now suffering 3 straight losses and having just 1 win in 6. They’ve lost 2-1, 2-1, 2-1 and drawn 1-1, so BTTS is on a 4-0 run.
There are always goals when these teams meet up. It was 2-2 in November and last year it was 2-2 and 2-1 Werder Bremen. Bets on BTTS & O2.5 is 5-0 and 6-1 in recent meetings, BTTS is 12-2 and there’s been at least 2 goals in 22/23 past meetings.
Given all that, a BTTS bet is certainly on the table here. But if you just wanted to target Werder Bremen scoring that could be a good bet. They have scored in 13 straight and 12/13 recent home games.
- Parlay Picks: Werder Bremen to score
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Freiburg Prediction
Carrying on in the Bundesliga predictions parlay, it’s 9th Frieburg vs 12th Borussia Monchengladbach here with 5 points between them.
Gladbach won a friendly during the internaitonal break but had been winless in 4 games, have 1 win in 10 and 2 wins in 14 prior to that.
Their recent scorelines have read: 1-1, 2-1, 3-3, 1-1, 5-2 (only win), and 2-0, so their games have seen plenty of goals in the soccer picks.
Freiburg also won a friendly in the international break, but lost 3-2 in the Bundesliga and 5-0 in UEL before the break. But they are at least 2-1-2 in their last 5 games.
Freiburg road games have seen plenty of goals and they’ve conceded in 5 straight in the Bundesliga in a 2-1 win, 2-1 loss, 3-0 loss, 3-1 loss and 3-2 loss.
Looking at Bundesliga goals per match, Gladbach ranks the 2nd highest at 3.7 and Freiburg is tied for ninth-highest at 3.2.
For soccer picks of O2.5, Gladbach is 20-6 and Freiburg is 18-8, while bets of O1.5, Gladbach is 23-3 and Freiburg 21-5.
When they met last year both scorelines were 0-0, but this year they drew 3-3 back in November. With Gladbach giving up 50 goals, tied 3rd most, and Freiburg 48 goals, the 5th most, I certainly can see goals coming again here.
Freiburg could get a push from the announcement that manager Christian Streich will step down after the season after 12 years in charge, but then again they’ve allowed 22 goals in their last 9 Bundesliga games.
I see at least 2 goals here again to conclude this parlay for our Bundesliga predictions.
- Parlay Picks: O1.5
- Total Parlay odds: (-115)
Stuttgart vs Heidenheim Prediction
Stuttgart to win or to score at least two goals could be a good piece to add into a parlay, but we’ll make this a single bet here in these Bundesliga predictions. Heidenheim has been a nice surprise this season but may be in for a tough trip to play Stuttgart here. Stuttgart are 3rd with 56 points, only 4 back of second place Bayerm Munich, while Heidenheim is 11th with 29 points.
Heidenheim did get the better of Stuttgart earlier this season in November with a 2-0 home win, but that means they should get Stuttgart’s full attention this time around.
Heidenheim have been in slide since the calendar turned to 2024 as they have just 1 win in 10 and 0 wins in 5.
But despite Heidenheim only having 2 road wins, both have come recently, and they are 2-3-1 in their last 6 on road.
But Stuttgart, outside of one 3-2 road loss to Leverkusen in the Pokal, have gone 7-1-0 in their last 8 Bundesliga games and heading into the break they beat Hoffenhheim 3-0 on the road, Berlin 2-0 at home and Wolfsburg 3-2 on road.
Stuttgart should get plenty of shots and scoring chances as they have the 4th most shots on target and Heidenheim give up the 7th most shots on target. Expect a Stuttgart win by at least two goals in this wekeed’s soccer predictions.
- Stuttgart vs Heidenheim picks: Stuttgart -1.5 (-143)
