In MLS Week 11 there’s 13 games on Saturday and 2 more on Sunday across May 2-3. Let’s look at 5 for our best bets and MLS predictions.
MLS Picks and Parlays #1
Toronto FC vs San Jose Earthquakes Prediction
1pm
It’s another home TFC game kicking off the slate at 1pm EST. Up until last week, home TFC games had been guaranteed points for the Reds who had gone undefeated since last June at BMO Field. But that came to an end vs a struggling team in Atlanta, when they lost 2-1. TFC was missing a ton of defenders and others. It’s not much better this week with 7 players on the injury report.
TFC did score, something they’ve done in 9/10 games, while they also again conceded, something they’ve also done in 9/10. Naturally they’ve been as close to a lock for BTTS props as you can come.
But then San Jose leads the Supporters’ Shield and only Vancouver has allowed fewer goals. The Quakes have reeled off 8 straight wins across all comps including a 4-2 win over Minnesota in the USOC this week. They’ve scored multiple goals in 7 straight, but have now given up 2, 2, 1 and 1 goals in their last 4, so maybe with the short rest, this one could be another BTTS game. They’re 9-0-1 start is the best in league history.
SJ have 6 multi-goal scorers with Judd leading with 6, meanwhile Werner has 4G/3A. But, Werner suffered a hamstring injury in the USOC which is a big blow.
I like all of BTTS, SJ to win, SJ double chance or simply SJ to score for leg one of a two-gamer.
- MLS Picks: San Jose to score

Real Salt Lake vs Portland Timbers Prediction
430pm
If you like goals, these teams have provided it. RSL games average 3.4 GPG and Portland’s 3.6.
The Timbers only have 3 wins, but have won 2/3 but both came with 96’ minute winners, have scored in 6/7 and multiple times in 3/4, but then have conceded in every single game.
They travel to Salt Lake to play another team that has yet to keep a clean sheet. RSL have lost 2 straight and have conceded 2 goals in 3 straight games. But only once, vs Miami, in 8 games have they not scored.
Last year’s regular season games were close, 0-0 and 1-0 RSL, but in the playoffs Portland won 3-1.
Considering neither has been able to keep the ball out of their net and both have capable scores, I see goals here.
- MLS Picks: BTTS
Chicago Fire vs FC Cincinnati Prediction
830pm
Chicago is 3rd in the East and just blew away SKC 5-0, but then lost 2-1 to St. Louis in the USOC. That’s their only loss in 7 games but they’ve conceded in 3/4. Cuypers had scored in 6 straight for Chicago as well before the USOC game.
Cincy is 1-3–0 in their last 4. They’ve played in a ton of wild game including a 3-3 and 4-4 and shutting out the young Red Bulls is their only clean sheet in 8 games.
This could be a good BTTS game. They literally just played on April 18 and it was 3-3. It was 3-1 Chicago though until a PK and OG saw Cincy score in the 79’ and 86’. Last year the scores were also 2-1 and 3-2 Cincy.
- MLS Picks: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: SJ to score / RSL vs POR btts / CHI vs CIN over 1.5 (+110) or BTTS (+171)
MLS Picks and Parlays #2
Inter Miami vs Orlando City Prediction
730pm
Miami still awaits their first win at Nu Stadium having drawn 2-2, 2-2 and also 1-1 last week with New England. In between those draws they won twice on the road 3-2 and 2-0. Overall, not since Week 1 have they lost, so while it hasn’t gone all Miami’s way this season, they’re still undefeated in 11 games.
At home against their rivals Orlando, who have been a woeful 2-1-7 and outscored 29-12, this could be the week for a home win. But we just haven’t seen Miami roll anyone yet.
They will have the rest advantage with Orlando playing in the USOC and winning 4-3.
The Lions’ scoring is starting to improve with 4, 2 and 4 goals in their last 3, but they continue to leak goals, giving up 6 in their last 6, and at least 1 in 11/12 overall games.
7 times they’ve given up multiple goals so let’s just focus on that. Last year both won at home, Orlando 4-1 and Miami 3-1, and then this season they’ve already played, with Miami winning 4-2 on the road. In that game, Pasalic and Ojeda scored for Orlando with Miami’s goals coming from Silvetti, Segovia and 2 from Messi.
Messi has only scored in 1/4 games lately, but shot-wise, he has multiple shots on target in 5/6 and 3 and 4 in his last 2 games. Meanwhile, Berterame is heating up with a goal or assist in 5 straight.
- MLS Picks: Miami over 1.5
LA Galaxy vs Vancouver Whitecaps Prediction
1030pm
The Caps are in turmoil of the field, but on it, If the Caps win here they’ll match the Quakes for a 9-0-1 start. Only SJ has more points than Vancouver in the league, only SJ has beaten Vancouver in MLS, the teams are tied with 25 GF, and only SEA has allowed fewer than their just 5 GA. Recently it’s wins of 3-2, 2-0, 3-0 and 3-1 last week over Colorado.
10 players have scored for the Caps already with 4 coming from Muller and a team-high 8 from Brian White.
Galaxy games all over the place. They’ve won just 2/8 overall, but are 1-1-1 in their last 3 and won 2-1 last week on Sunday Night Soccer vs RSL. They’ve scored in 12/13 recent games only being shut out by Toluca, but as always, they let in goals, doing so in 8 straight (16 total).
Both won at home last year, the Caps 2-1 and LA 3-0 and there’s now been 3+ goals between them in 6 straight, BTTS & Over 2.5 is 5-1, and BTTS is 6-1 and 10-2.
Klauss may be injured for LA, but Reus had 2 last week, and with Pec and Painstil they have plenty of options to at least score once at home.
- MLS Picks: BTTS & Over 2.5
- Parlay Picks: MIA over 1.5 / LA vs VAN btts & over 2.5 (+115)
