Into MLS Week #7 we go with 13 games on Saturday, April 11 and 2 more on Sunday, April 12. Let’s get into this weekend’s MLS predictions.

MLS Picks and Parlays #1
Toronto FC vs FC Cincinnati Prediction
TFC were in a wild game last week that saw 3 red cards and an own goal, a Josh Sargent game-winner for his first Toronto go and a 3-2 TFC win. They’re out Raheem Edwards from the red last week. They’re also probably out key playmaker Djordje Mihailovic who’s been dealing with a groin injury.
TFC are slowly coming into form as the new pieces gel, with a 1-0 win, 1-1 draw, 2-1 win and 3-2 win in their last 4. They’ve scored in 5/6 but also conceded in 5/6.
Cincy lost 4-2 to the Red Bulls last game and have given up 4, 3, 5 and 6 goals now in their last 4. That’s 18 goals in 4 games and they’re out Alvas Powell who took red last game. Having scored in 5 straight, they have some BTTS potential.
- MLS Picks: TFC to score
Austin FC vs LA Galaxy Prediction
LA was away in Mexico on Wednesday to Toluca and it went about as expected, a high-scoring game where Toluca came out on top 4-2. So there’s a decent score to overturn next week for LA in Leg 2, which I can only assume should mean some rotation here this weekend away to Austin.
LA also lost 2-1 to Minnesota last week and while they won’t break last year’s horrendous record for a winless start to a season, they really haven’t been much better. In 11 overall games, it’s just 3 wins, and 2 of those came over Mount Pleasant of Jamaica in CCC. As is the case with LA in recent years, they’re a solid BTTS team going 5-1 to the prop in MLS. Outside of the one win over Charlotte, their only other clean sheets have come in CCC.
That hasn’t been helped with CB Jakob Glenses injured, and the offense has been out a key piece in Josef Paintsil as well.
I don’t trust Austin much more here with just 1 win, happening 5 games back and 1-0 over DC. But they are home, have scored in 5/6 and have put up 2 solid draws vs top teams like LAFC and Inter Miami. It’s worth checking on Facundo Torres’ status as he was subbed off last week.
Austin won both games last year 1-0 and 2-1 and have scored vs LA in 5 straight.
- MLS Picks: Austin to score

FC Dallas vs St. Louis City SC Prediction
With 14 GF in 6 games and 9 GA, Dallas has been a solid team to back for wins and goals. They’re 3-2-1 and host the 1-2-3 St. Louis SC.
St. Louis is struggling to score with just 5 goals, but they’ve only given up 8. Still, they’ve yet to keep any clean sheets giving up 1 or 2 in every game. But they’ve picked up 4 points in recent weeks with a 3-1 win and 1-1 draw.
Back to Dallas. They’ve lost just once to LAFC, no shame there. Since that loss, it’s a 3-3 draw, and wins of 4-3 and 4-0. Petar Musa leads the Golden Boot Race (tied with Surridge) with 7 goals, while Logan Farrington is also off to a great start with 4G/1A.
I like Dallas to win. Certainly to score and any Musa props look solid too. He’s got 21 shots / 12 on target and at least 1 on target in every game.
- MLS Picks: Dallas to score
- Parlay Picks: TOR to score / AUS to score / DAL to score (-125) add Musa SOT (-105)
MLS Picks and Parlays #2
Two 730pm games here.
Inter Miami vs New York Red Bulls Prediction
Miami’s first win at Nu Stadium will have to wait as they could only draw Austin 2-2 last week in the stadium’s grand opening game. Miami hasn’t fully gotten up and rolling and Berterame still hasn’t scored and is even starting on the bench now, but Miami still hasn’t lost since Week 1, being undefeated across their last 7 overall matches
The first win at Nu may come this week against the young travelling Red Bulls. New York snapped a 3 game winless run by beating Cincinnati 4-2 last week. Two of their 3 wins have come at home. The 3 wins are over Cincy, Orlando and New England all ranked 9th or lower in the East, albeit it’s early. If NY does get on the scoresheet, it could be Julian Hall who became the youngest player with 5 goals in his first 6 games in MLS history.
Miami has run wild over the Bulls lately with wins of 5-1, 4-1 and 6-2 in their last 3 meetings.
- MLS Picks: Inter Miami to win
Vancouver Whitecaps vs NYCFC Prediction
This inter-conference matchup pits together both 2nd place teams and looks like a good match.
The Caps are 5-0-1 and have scored the most goals in the league with 17, while only conceding 4 times. Vancouver got the win last week but needed late goals in the 91’ (PK) and then the 95’ to come back and beat Portland 3-2. The Caps look like one of the best teams, but are missing Cubas in the middle of the park.
NYC isn’t quite at those heights at 3-2-1, scoring 14 and allowing 7. NYC has stumbled a bit losing 3-2 to Miami and drawing St. Louis 1-1, but the Miami loss is their only defeat, while they’ve scored in all 6 games and multiple goals in 4/6. But … shutting out the woeful Orlando, is their only clean sheet. They almost had another one last week before giving up the tying goal in the 96’ minute.
Prop-wise, both teams have a 5-goal scorer in Brian White (VAN) and Nicolas Mercau (NY).
Their last 2 meetings in 2023 and 2022 were both draws, 1-1 and 0-0.
- MLS Picks: Both Teams to Score
- Parlay Picks: MIA win / VAN vs NYC btts (+151)
