We’re back for more weekend soccer bets in EPL, La Liga, Serie A and La Liga. This weekend we’ll look at 9 games in 3 parlays for our soccer predictions.
Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
Aston Villa vs Fulham Prediction
7th Villa can still jump into the Europa and Champions League spots just being a few points back.
Villa had only 1 loss in 11 but have recently lost 2-1 away to City in the EPL and then 3-0 at Wembley in the FA Cup Semifinals last week to Palace.
They’ll be back at Villa Park here to host Fulham, who are 6 points behind them in 8th.
Failing to score vs Palace last week is the only time in 18 games Villa failed to score. So I’m betting they get back on the scoresheet here. Rashford is out but Ollie Watkins is no slouch.
Fulham won 2-1 last week but that was vs 20th Southampton and they have only 2 wins in 6 and have conceded a goal in 14/15 and 19/21.
Villa haven’t lost a home game since the Carabao Cup in October so you’d have to lean their way if picking a winner. They’ve not failed to score at home in any match since November.
- Soccer Picks Today: Villa to score

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Hoffenheim Prediction
Gladbach could maybe reach the European places in 9th and only 4 points back of 6th but they aren’t playing like they care. They’re winless n 4 and have lost 2-1, 3-2, and 4-3 in their most recent games. They’ve at least scored in 8 straight and 14/15 but have conceded 9 goals in 3 games and at least 1 in 10/12.
Hoffenheim have still yet to secure safety being 15th and only 5 points above Heidenheim with 3 games to go. There’s more on the line for Hoffenheim but they too haven’t shown much. They lost 3-2 last week and 3-2 the game prior and have just 1 win 7, but have at least scored in 9/10. They have just 1 clean sheet in 7 and have allowed 6 goals in 2 games.
When these teams met it’s always goals goals goals. It was 2-1 Gladbach this season and previous scores are 4-3, 2-1, 4-1, 3-1, 5-1, 1-1, 3-2, 2-1, 1-1, 3-0, 2-2. The BTTS is 9-0 and 21-2 going back over a decade.
- Soccer Picks Today: Both Teams to Score
Leicester vs Southampton Prediction
This is ugly on paper but maybe can be a game where 2 already relegated teams with nothing else to play for can relax, play free and go for it.
Leicester is riding a 3-game winning streak between them winning 3-2 in October this year and 5-0 and 4-1 in the Championship last season.
But overall it’s dire reading for both.
Leicester haven’t won in 12 games and have lost 11 of those, while being outscored 29-3. Amazingly they’ve been shut out in 10/12. You rarely see that even for the worst teams in any league. They’ve given up a goal at least in 30 straight. Last week’s 3-0 loss to Wolves also saw each of Buonanotte, De Cordova-Red and Pereira leave injured so 3 more starters are out this weekend. Leicester don’t have many goals, but Buonanotte is among their leaders with 4 goals, tied in 2nd with Mavididi who is also out. That basically leaves Vardy and Ayew as the only threats.
Over to Southampton. And it’s not much better. They’re 0-2-9 in 11 games with just 2 wins in 27 and only 1 of those was in the EPL. In their last 11, they’ve been outscored 27-7. They can at least say they’ve scored in 7/11 and 12/16. They struggle to score too and their leading scorer Onuachy is a doubt with injury.
These teams give up the most shots on target against with Southampton 20th and Leicester 19th-worst, and for xGA, Leicester are 19th and Southampton 20th.
- Soccer Picks Today: Southampton to score
- Parlay Picks: Villa to score / Gladbach vs Hoffenheim BTTS / Southampton to score (+126)

Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
It’s an all La-Liga Saturday parlay here with games at 10:15, 12:30 and 4pm EST.
Villarreal vs Osasuna Prediction
5th Villarreal are looking to hold off 6th Betis for the UCL spots with Betis only 1 point behind. Meanwhile, 8th Osasuna are in a Conference League spot but are tied with 9th Mallorca and only 2 points back of the Europa spots. So there’s something on the line for both.
Villarreal held off a plucky Espanyol side last week for a 1-0 win and have lost just 4 times in 17 games. In their past 18, they’ve scored 14 times but keeping the ball out of their net has happened just twice in 8 games.
For Osasuna, after a streak of 9 games winless, they’ve not lost in 5 and have won 3 straight by scores of 2-1, 3-2 and 1-0 last week.
Simply asking for 2 goals in a game has hit in 28/33 for Villarreal and 25/33 for Osasuna. These are also two of the highest BTTS teams in the league with Villarreal cashing the prop in 70% of their games and Osasuna in 64%.
That’s been the trend in past meetings too. It was 2-2 this season and 1-1 and 3-1 for Villarreal last year.
- Soccer Picks Today: Over 1.5

Las Palmas vs Valencia Prediction
Valencia look to have done enough to be safe, now 14th and 7 points above relegation. In fact, at only 5 points back of 8th, with 5 games to go, they are still technically alive for European spots.
And the Bats are in flying form right now, no pun intended. They’ve not lost in 8 games and have only 4 losses in 21 games. Those losses have come vs Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Barcelona again and Real Madrid, top 3 teams.
Valencia have back-to-back 1-1 draws and the Under 2.5 is 5-1 of late. They’ve scored in 8 straight, but more than once only once in six. Defensively, they’ve conceded in 8/10, but not more than once in any of their past 7. They’ve been awful on the road with 1 win in 16, but it did come 4 games back, 2-1 over Real Madrid. Going to the Canary Islands has also not been pleasant for Valencia, last winning there in 2002.
Las Palmas are still fighting at the bottom of the table in 18th, but are just 2 points back of 17th Alaves so this match and all matches, have tons of meaning for them.
After 13 games without a win, Las Palmas beat Getafe 3-1 and Atletico Madrid 1-0, before losing 1-0 away to Bilbao last week. As poor as the Yellows have been, they often score as seen by 70% of their matches chasing BTTS props. In home games this season they’ve scored in 14/16.
Las Palmas won in a 5-goal thrilled in October 3-2 and in the match prior 2-0 as well.
I can see a draw, maybe a 1-1, bringing in the Under, BTTS and Over 1.5.
- Soccer Picks Today: Over 1.5
Real Valladolid vs Barcelona Prediction
This doesn’t need much explaining. Already relegated Valladolid are 4-4-25 and outscored 81-24. They’ll face 1st placed Barcelona who have outscored opponents by 57 goals this season and need to keep their lead above Madrid in the title race.
The only, only case against Barca is they just had a crazy 3-3 Leg 1 draw vs Inter in the UCL this week and will need to travel to Italy next week. But both competitions are equally important and even a slightly rotated Barca side, should Hansi Flick, should brush aside Valladolid.
Barca scored a touchdown in a 7-0 beatdown over Valladolid in their first meeting and while they may not score that many again, a win by 2 or 3 could be expected. Valladolid hasn’t won in 14 (0-1-13) and have conceded 16 goals in just their past 4 games in losses of 4-0, 4-2, 3-2 and 5-1. That’s also 5 goals in 3 and with Barca’s backdoor always open maybe a Barca win and Valladolid to score bet has some value.
- Soccer Picks Today: Barca over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: Villarreal vs Osasuna O1.5 / Las Palmas vs Valencia O1.5 / Barcelona O1.5 (-125)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Three games for Sunday’s soccer predictions.
Augsburg vs Holstein Kiel Prediction
10th Augsburg hosts relegation threatened Holstein Kiel in 17th.
It’s mid-table purgatory for Augsburg who lost 2-0 last week and have 1 win in 5. A 0-0 draw with Frankfurt is their only clean sheet in those last 5, after a stretch that saw them post 6 straight. So it seems, they’ve eased up on the gas and are settling for a mid-table spot.
No matter what 16th place Heidenheim does on Friday, Kiel need points if they have any chance of avoiding the drop. Win or lose they usually score. Last week it was a rare win, 4-3 at home over Gladbach, their first win in 6 and 2nd win in 14. However, they have scored in 7/8 and 16/18.
When they met in December Kiel exploded for 5 in a 5-1 home win.
- Soccer Picks Today: Kiel to score

Roma vs Fiorentina Prediction
6th Roma is now in the Conference League spots and can easily jump into Europa and even Champions League places only 2 points back of 4th Juventus.
Fiorentina can do similar, being 8th, with 59 points, only 1 point worse than Roma.
Fiorentina will have short rest having played and lost 2-1 away to Real Betis in the Conference League Thursday. That snapped a run of 9 games undefeated. The BTTS & Over 2.5 is 4-0 and 6-1 in recent games and they’ve scored in 12/13.
Roma pulled off the road upset of Inter last weekend 1-0 and didn’t play midweek so are more rested. They’ve not lost in 6 games, have only 1 loss in 15 and have scored in 19 straight and 25/26.
It was 5-1 for La Viola this season in Florence. Last year it was 1-1 and 2-2. The BTTS is 4-0 and there’s been 2+ between them in 17 straight.
- Soccer Picks Today: Roma to score

Brighton vs Newcastle Prediction
3rd Newcastle are looking to keep their spot in the top 5, but Man City (1), Chelsea (2), and Forest (2) are all just behind them.
The Magpies sae a 6-game winning streak end with a 4-1 loss to Villa but responded quickly beating Ipswich 3-0 last week. They’ve scored in 9 straight and multiple in 6/7. There’s been 2+ goals in 30 of their past 31 games.
Brighton are 9th and it’s looking unlikely they can get into the European spots but they’re only 6 points back so it is possible. The Seagulls had a 6-game winning streak themselves, before failing to win in 6 and then snapping that streak last week beating West Ham 3-2 at home.
Their games have been full of goals at 3-2, 4-2, 2-2, 2-1 and 3-0 of late. In fact, in EPL games only, there’s been 3+ in 11 straight and often more than 3.
They’ve scored in 11/13 but also conceded in 9/10. They will be without the suspended Jaoa Pedro, their top scorer.
Brighton only won 1-0 in Newcastle this season in the league, before they drew 1-1 in Newcastle in the FA Cup and Brighton went on to win in extra-time.
Easily looks like a good BTTS or at least Over 1.5.
- Soccer Picks Today: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: Kiel to score / Roma to score / Brighton vs Newcastle over 1.5 (+106)
