Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
An all-Bundesliga Saturday morning parlay.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Augsburg Prediction
While the BTTS has hit in 6/7, their last meeting was 0-0.
This year, both teams are in the top 5 for highest scoring Bundesliga games.
After a string of lower-scoring games, Frankfurt’s games have opened up again with a 4-3 win, 3-0 loss, 1-1 draw, 6-0 loss and 2-1 loss this week in the UCL to Barca.
Augsburg will be fresher with no midweek game. They beat Leverkusen 2-0 last weekend with a new interim coach and have wins in 2/3. They have scored in 3/4, but have also been shut out in 4/7.
BTTS looks solid. Or simply Over 1.5. There’s been 2+ in 12/13 Frankfurt Bundesliga games and 2+ in 11/13 for Augsburg.
If you’re picking a winner, Frankfurt has only lost once in 11 meetings with this opponent.
- Soccer Picks Today: Over 1.5
St. Pauli vs Heidenheim Prediction
Both of these teams are bad. And while they don’t often score a lot, they do both concede a ton — Heidenheim the most with 28 goals in 13 games, and Pauli the 3rd-most with 25. Both are in the relegation zone.
Heidenheim have actually conceded in every single game this season except in their first game in August in the Pokal. They’re in their best form right now have won back-to-back 2-1 games.
St. Pauli have also conceded in nearly every game (all but 1 this season) and in 13 straight. It’s only 1 win in 12, but they have a 2-1 win and 1-1 draw in their last 2 and have scored in 4/5.
Last year both got road wins and both by 2-0 scores.
- Soccer Picks Today: BTTS (-105) good enough alone or over 1.5 (-260)
Hoffenheim vs Hamburger Prediction
Hamburger have pulled themselves 4 points clear of the relegation zone with wins of 2-1 and 3-2. But bth of those wins came at home. They’ll be on the road here, where they own the worst road record at 0-2-4 and being outscored 12-2.
Hoffenheim lost 2-0 to Dortmund last week, which snapped a run of 7 games without defeat and it was just the 2nd time all season they failed to score in any match. They’ve scored multiple goals in 6 of their past 8 and in 5 of those games they scored 3.
- Soccer Picks Today: Hoffenheim over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: EF vs AUG O1.5 / STP vs HEI O1.5 / HOF O1.5 (+166)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
A big favorites parlay on Saturday.
Atletico Madrid vs Valencia Prediction
4th Atletico Madrid hosts 16th Valencia.
Atleti still haven’t lost at home in La Liga at 7-1-0 and have outscored teams 20-6.
Valencia still hasn’t won on the road at 0-3-4 and have been outscored 16-4.
Atleti had won 7 straight before losses to Barca and Bilbao. They got back in the win column in the UCL beating PSV 3-2. At home, Atleti have scored multiple goals in 5 straight which may be too much for Valencia to counter with.
The Bats have scored more than 1 goal just 2 times in 11 games and both came to lower level teams in the CDR. Still, they’re 2-3-0 in their last 5 overall matches and have scored in 5 straight, while still conceding in 5/6, but not more than 1 in 5 straight.
When someone wins this matchup it’s usually big and usually in shutout fishing. The BTTS NO is 6-0, while Atleti has won 3-0 and 3-0 last year, and at home have won 5 straight scoring multiple times in all 5.
- Soccer Picks Today: Atleti over 1.5
Barcelona vs Osasuna Prediction
1st Barcelona hosts 15th Osasuna.
Only a UCL loss to Chelsea is Barca’s only defeat in 9 games. They fell behind to Frankfurt in the UCL this week but stormed back to win 2-1, now giving them 4 wins in a row where they’ve won 3-1, 3-1, 5-3 and 2-1. And they’ve scored multiple goals in 8/9, but only have 1 clean sheet in 16 games.
Osa are way down there, but they have a 2-2 draw, 5-3 win and 2-0 win in their last 3. But those came vs Mallorca, Ebro (lower team in CDR) and Levante. Not top opponents. And Osasuna on the road is not a team you can trust as they own La Liga’s worst road record at 0-2-6 while being outscored 10-3.
They did beat Barca 4-2 at home last year, but on the road they lost 3-0 and they’ve lost each of their last 6 trips to the Catalan club by a combined score of 15-0.
- UCL Picks Today: Barcelona win and to score over 1.5
Arsenal vs Wolves Prediction
This doesn’t need much explaining.
Arsenal lost last weekend but that’s just their 2nd loss all year. They’re first in the EPL and just routed Club Brugge in the UCL this week.
They beat Wolves 2-0 and 1-0 last year and have won 8 straight while outscoring them 17-2. And those versions of Wolves were likely better than this version. This version is is 20th in the EPL, still winless at 0-2-13 and have been outscored 33-8. What! 33-8!!
Arsenal to win, to score 2 or 3 and maybe some player props depending who gets the start up top. On Wednesday Madueke had 2 goals.
- Soccer Picks Today: Arsenal to win and score over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: ATM O1.5 / BAR win & O1.5 / ARS win & O1.5 (+132)

Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Crystal Palace vs Man City Prediction
Sunday starts with a top-4 matchup between 4th Crystal Palace and 2nd Man City.
City have scored way more goals than Palace (35-20), but Palace have been better defensively (12 vs 16).
Palace routed Shelbourne in the Conference League 3-0 on Thursday and have won 3 in a row, have lost only 2 of 10 and have scored in 9/10.
Man City went to Madrid in the UCL on Wednesday and won 2-1. That’s their 4th straight win and they’ve scored multiple times (13 total) in those 4 games, but .. they’ve kept just 1 clean sheet in 6 and 2 in 11. In 3/5 games they’ve given up multiple goals.
Palace usually finds some success vs City in recent season. They won 1-0 in the last meeting and are 1-2-2 in the last 5. That’s only 1 win, but they’ve scored plenty with other scores being 5-2 City, 2-2, 4-2 City and another 2-2.
- Soccer Picks Today: BTTS
Brentford vs Leeds Prediction
Both teams see a fair amount of goals in their games.
Brentford’s average 3.0, they’re 9-6 to Over 2.5 and 13-2 to Over 1.5.
Leeds average 3.2, they’re 11-4 (highest) to Over 2.5 and 12-3 to Over 1.5.
Brentford actually have one of the better home records in England at 5-1-1, while Leeds are awful on the road at 1-0-6. Still, recent weeks have been good for Leeds after a 3-2 loss to Man City, then a 3-1 win over Chelsea and a 3-3 draw with Liverpool.
At 60%, only 3 teams have seen more BTTS games than Brentford so that could be in play. Or simple Over 1.5.
- Soccer Picks Today: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: CP vs MCI btts / BRE vs LEE over 1.5 (+116)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #4
Let’s do 1 more game on Sunday afternoon in Italy.
Bologna vs Juventus Prediction
Bologna will be the higher ranked team in this one in 5th at 7-4-3, while Juve is 7th at 6-5-3. Both have been decent defensively, giving up 12 and 14 goals respectively in 14 games, so 1.0 or less GPG.
Both are in good form right now and both won in Europe this week. Juve, 2-0 over Pafos in the UCL, giving them wins in 4/5 and only 1 loss in 10. They lost 2-1 to Napoli last week but only 2 times in 12 games have they given up more than 1 goal. They’ve scored in 6 straight and 9/10.
Bologna went to Spain and beat Celta Vigo 2-1 with 2 Bernardeschi goals. The ex-TFC man. They’re undefeated in 3, have just 1 loss in 16 and have scored in 7 straight, but have now conceded in 5 in a row.
When these teams meet, both usually score, concede and draw. Past scores have been 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 1-1 and 1-1. Juve haven’t failed to score in 19 straight meetings.
- Soccer Picks Today: BTTS (-106) OR Draw (+225)
