We’ve had a busy week of Champions League and Europa League action and now it’s back to the domestic leagues this weekend’s soccer picks today. We’ll cover EPL picks, Bundesliga picks, Serie A picks and La Liga picks for Saturday and Sunday, looking at 10 games in 4 parlays.
Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
Saturday in the EPL and Bundesliga for these soccer picks.
Newcastle vs Fulham Prediction
5th Newcastle is hosting 10th Fulham.
Newcastle won 9 straight outscoring opponents 26-3, before seeing that streak end with a 4-1 loss to Bournemouth. But they got right back to winning ways last week going on the road and beating Southampton 3-1.
I expected a better game last week for Fulham vs Man U but they lost 1-0 at home, just the 3rd time in 26 overall matches this season they’ve not scored, and twice came in 1-0 loss to Man U. It was just the 2nd loss in 12 for Fulham and the 2nd time in 18 games they had a game without at least 2 goals.
In September Fulham won 3-1 at Craven Cottage, and that snapped a run of 6 straight wins for Newcastle and 9 straight where Newcastle had not lost. Perhaps the tables are turning?
It’s tough to bet on another win for the Cottagers considering the form of the Magpies.
If I’m picking a winner it’s Newcastle. But a much safer route is just backing Over 1.5. There’s been 2+ goals in 16-straight Newcastle games.
- Soccer Pick Today: Over 1.5
Wolves vs Aston Villa Prediction
18th Wolves is hosting 8th Aston Villa in a West Midlands Derby.
Villa had gone 3 games winless before getting a 4-2 win over Celtic in the UCL on Wednesday. So they’ll have the rest disadvantage, but have scored in 12/14 and have only 3 losses in that time.
Wolves had a brief uptick under their new manager, but now have only 1 win (Bristol City in the FA Cup) in their last 6 games.
Villa won 3-1 earlier this season and are undefeated in 3 vs Wolves, while there’s been 2+ goals between them in 6/7.
Villa’s games have seen an average of 3 GPG and Wolves, the most in the EPL at 3.7.
I would expect a Villa win here, but on the road off a UCL game, let’s just bet Over 1.5. There’s been 2+ in 12/15. Prior to last week’s 1-0 loss to Arsenal, Wolves games had seen 2+ in 25 straight, or in every single other game this season (22-1 in the EPL).
- Soccer Pick Today: Over 1.5
Heidenheim vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
16th Heidenheim is just 12 points back of struggling Dortmund who is 11th.
Dortmund beat Shakhtar 3-1 in the UCL this week but that snapped a run of 5 games winless and is just their 2nd win in 11 games. It was 2-2 with Bremen last week and they’ve now conceded in 11 straight and multiple in 5/6. Win, lose or draw they usually score and the BTTS is 10-1. Dortmund has kept just 2 clean sheets in regulation when on the road in 12 games. They’ll be out defender Nico Schlotterbeck who was red carded last week.
After Dortmund’s loss to Bologna last week in the UCL, manager Nuri Sahin was sacked. This week ex-Bayern manager Niko Kovac was hired so maybe we see a “new coach bump” this weekend.
2025 has continued much like 2024 for Heidenheim. They ended 2024 winless in 9 and in 2025 they’re 1-1-2 with their last 3 games being a 2-2 draw, 2-0 loss and 2-1 loss last weekend.
Last year both games ended tied, 2-2 and 0-0 but this season it was a 6-goal thriller with Dortmund winning 4-2.
Dortmund’s games have averaged 3.5 GPG and Heidenheim’s 3.4 and if we only look at betting 2+ goals in a game, Dortmund is 18-1 to Over 1.5 and Heidenheim 16-3.
Most Dortmund games have been cashing BTTS, while Heidenheim have allowed multiple goals in 4/5 and 11/13 and there’s been 2+ in any comp in 14 straight.
- Soccer Pick Today: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: Newcastle vs Fulham O1.5 / Wolves vs Villa O1.5 / Heidenheim vs Dortmund O1.5 (-141)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
Saturday’s soccer picks in La Liga and Serie A, plus Sunday in Serie A.
Espanyol vs Real Madrid Prediction
18th Espanyol will look to stop the runaway train that is Real Madrid right now, who are 1st and have outscored opponents 50-20 in La Liga.
Madrid beat Salzburg 5-1 in the UCL last week, Valladolid 3-0 this weekend in La Liga and Brest 3-0 this week in the UCL. In 14 recent games they’re 12-1-1, outscoring opponents 48-17, while scoring multiple goals in all 14 and 3+ in 12/14.
Espanyol also played Wednesday in a Copa Catalunya match where they beat Sabadell 1-0 in the quarterfinals. Despite their low ranking, Espanyol have actually only lost 1 of 7 recent games, being 2-4-1, so lots of draws. Only once in 7 games have they scored more than 1 goal and only twice in 11. But they’ve also given up more than 1 only once in 9 games.
Recent meetings with Espanyol have seen Madrid win 4-1 this season and 3-1, 3-1, and 4-0 in games prior.
- Soccer Pick Today: Real Madrid to win
Bologna vs Como Prediction
Bologna is 8th with 34 points and Como 13th with 22 points.
Bologna has only 2 wins in 7, but then only 1 loss in 13. It’s been 4 draws in 6 and back-to-back 1-1 draws in recent games. With scores of 1-1, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 2-2, 2-2 and 3-2 the BTTS bet has been killing it.
For Como, they’re hard to trust. It’s only 3 wins in 16, but just 3 losses in 9. They’ve also had decent showings vs top teams—1-1 with Lazio, 2-1 loss to AC Milan, then a 4-1 win over Udinese, and a 2-1 loss last week vs Atalanta after going up 1-0. It’s goals scored in 8/9, but goals allowed in 21/23.
Both have seen an average of 2.9 GPG in their matches and while neither are great Over 2.5 teams, the Over 1.5 has seen Como go 19-3 and Bologna 18-3. All over Over 1.5, Over 2.5 and the BTTS hit when they met in September in a 2-2 draw.
- Soccer Pick Today: Over 1.5
AC Milan vs Inter Milan Prediction
2nd place Inter will be favored over 7th Milan in the Milan Derby this Sunday.
Coming into this season Inter had won 6 straight in this derby, but AC Milan has won twice this season, 2-1 in the league and then 3-2 in the Super Cup earlier this month. The past 4 meetings have seen tons of goals with other scores of 2-1 and 5-1.
Inter swept aside Monaco 3-0 in the UCL this week and the 3-2 Super Cup loss to AC Milan is their only defeat in 12 games, and it’s only 2 losses in 26, the other coming to Leverkusen in the UCL. They’ve not lost in Serie A since September, against … Milan.
For Inter, Lautaro Martinez scored all 3 vs Monaco and has scored in 5 straight games, a total of 7 goals. He’s certainly in play for goal and shot props. He hasn’t failed to have an attempt or shot on target in 10 games. He’s had multiple shot attempts in 9/10 and multiple shots on target in 7/10.
Milan just lost to Zagreb 2-1 in the UCL this week, but only have 2 losses across 12 matches and 3 in 20 themselves. Only against Juve have they failed to score in 10, but only vs Girona have they kept a clean sheet in 9. Morata could be on his way to Galatasaray, while Fofano is out injured from the midfield.
You’d lean to Inter to win and not lose 3 straight in this derby, or the BTTS or just Inter to score.
- Soccer Pick Today: Inter to score
- Parlay Picks: Real Madrid to win / Bologna vs Como O1.5 / Inter to score (+107)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Sunday’s EPL picks.
Arsenal vs Man City Prediction
It’s a top 4 matchup between 2nd Arsenal and 4th Man City.
It was 2-2 in Manchester in September but only 0-0 and 1-0 last season. I see something closer to the 2-2 happening again. And mostly just based off of how City is playing.
Do you always expect them to score? Absolutely. They’ve scored in 11 straight and a total of 30 goals in their past 8 games. Sure 14 of them came vs Salford and Ipswich but it’s also back-to-back 3-1 wins over Chelsea and Club Brugge.
But the worrying trend of always giving up goals continues, something they’ve done in 17/21 and their onyl clean sheets in 13 have come vs Ipswich, Salford and Leicester. Even in a must-win UCL game this week, they fell behind 1-0 to Brugge before storming back.
Arsenal also fell behind in the UCL Wednesday 1-0 to Girona before ultimately winning 2-1. They’re undefeated in 4 with only 2 losses in 20, and just 1 in regulation. Just twice in those 20 have they not scored. No Saka and Jesus doesn’t help betting on Arsenal to score but I just don’t trust City’s defense.
- Soccer Pick Today: Both Teams to Score
Brentford vs Tottenham Prediction
11th Brentford hosts 15th Tottenham.
Back in September Spurs won 3-1 and other scores have been 3-2, 2-2, 3-1 and 2-2 in recent meetings.
It would be hard not to back goals again here. Both have seen 3.6 GPG this season, only behind Wolves’ 3.7. Brentford is 21-2 to Over 1.5 totals and Tottenham 19-4 and both are 17-6 to Over 2.5. You can also add in the 4.3 GPG for Brentford home games, which is the most.
Spurs haven’t won an EPL game in 7 and the injuries keep piling up with 10 senior players out. On Thursday they played in the UEL and did win though 3-0 over Elfsborg. That game was 0-0 tbough until youngster Dane Scarlett scored his first goal for the team in the 70’ minute and Spurs added 2 more late in the 84’ and 94’.
Spurs have been well-documentedly bad. But Brentford only have 2 wins in 10 themselves. That does include a 2-2 home draw with Man City, a 2-0 home loss to Liverpool that was 0-0 til stoppage time and then a 2-1 road win last week over Palace.
There’s been 3+ goals now in each of Spurs last 5 games so like the trend has been all season, lots of goals.
Betting options could be Brentford to win, to score 2, BTTS or BTTS and Over 2.5 or just Over 2.5. I’ll combine some version of that for a simple Brentford to score and over 1.5 match goals same-game parlay.
- Soccer Pick Today: Brentford to score & over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: Brentford to score + over 1.5 game goals / Arsenal vs Man City BTTS (-112)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #4
Sunday’s Bundesliga picks.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg Prediction
This should be an exciting matchup between 3rd place Frankfurt and 7th Wolfsburg and between teams ranked 3rd and 4th in goalscoring.
Frankfurt won 2-1 in September. Previous meetings were 2-2, 2-0 Wolfsburg and 2-2. Prior to this season’s Frankfurt win, Wolfsburg had been undefeated in 6 meetings.
Having not played in Europe this week, Wolves will be rested and will be hoping to get back to winning ways after a 3-2 loss to Bayern and 2-2 draw last week with Kiel. On one hand, it’s only 2 wins in 6, on the other it’s only 3 losses in 14 and they’ve not failed to find the back of the net since October 26. But defensively they’ve given up 2, 3, 1, 0, 3, 3 and 3 goals of late.
Frankfurt did play in Europe this week, on Thursday vs Roma in the UEL and lost 2-0, while drawing Hoffenheim 2-2 last weekend.
In 2025 they started with 4 straight wins before the recent 2 games. The past 2 have been on the road,d while the previous 3 had been at home where they won 2-0, 2-0 and 4-1.
I see goals from both.
- Soccer Pick Today: Both Teams to Score
Bayer Leverkusen vs Hoffenheim Prediction
2nd Leverkusen hosts 15th Hoffenheim who is just 4 points above relegation. It’s hard to see past a Leverkusen win who have only 1 home loss, and Hoffenheim only 1 road win.
Both played this week.
Leverkusen on Wednesday in the UCL where they beat Sparta Prague 2-0. Last weekend they drew Leipzig 2-2 and lost to Atleti 2-1 in the UCL last week in the final moments making them 12-1-1 in their past 14. Their 1 and only home loss in any comp this season came all the way back in August.
Hoffenheim played on Thursday in the UEL fell behind to Anderlecht, stormed back to be leading 4-1, before holding on for a 4-3 win. That’s just their 2nd win in 13 games, but they’re 2-1-1 in 4. In reverse order they’ve now won 4-3, drew 2-2, lost 3-2, won 3-1 and lost 5-0.
Leverkusen are, are home and more rested. This should be a Leverkusen win, maybe by 2 or at least to score 2.
- Soccer Pick Today: Leverkusen to win
- Parlay Picks: Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg BTTS / Leverkusen over 1.5 (-104)
