Here’s another game that we just saw last week. The outcome is skewed by an early Whitecaps red card just 11 minutes in. They got a PK goal from Muller but went on to lose 2-1 to Dallas and missed out on taking the West crown. The win, was enough for Dallas to hold onto their playoff spot and avoid the Wild Card midweek.
Their other meeting this season was 1-0 Vancouver win.
Muller’s PK goal gives him goals in 4 straight and 8G/3A in his brief time in Canada. He’s instantly fit in and is a great player prop option. He also has 9 shots on target in his last 4 games.
As a team, the Caps had been rolling and were favoured to claim the West title before losing to Dallas last game. They were undefeated in 8 games prior, had scored multiple goals in 6/7 and further back are 7-4-2 in MLS — not counting the Canadian Championship win.
The Caps do have defensive injuries like Tristan Blackmon and betting BTTS has been a good bet in their games as it’s now on a 5-0 and 8-2 run.
Dallas, albeit playing up a man the whole game, got 2 goals despite being without 2 of their top players with Musa and Farrington suspended. They’ll be back here, which should bode well for them to get on the scoresheet.

FCD is also in solid form. They’re 5-4-1 in their last 10 and have scored in 13 straight and 17/18, and have scored multiple goals in 5/6. But … they too see a lot of BTTS games with the prop going 5-0 and 8-1. Only 1 time in 9 games have they kept a clean sheet.
I think Vancouver should win at home and want some revenge for losing last week and losing out on the top seed. Their moneyline is juiced and both of these teams have been scoring and conceding.
•MLS Picks: Both to Score and Muller 1+ shot on target (-105)
