Let’s dive into some weekend soccer action across Europe in the EPL, Bundesliga, and La Liga. This weekend I’ve picked out 10 games to cover to include in my weekend soccer predictions.
Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli Prediction
At just 2-1-8, St. Pauli are sitting in the relegation zones in 16th and ave been outscored 21-9.
Bayern are coasting in 1st place but saw a season-long undefeated streak in all matches end at 18 this week in the UCL when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal. Based on their superior form, you can only say they’ve dipped a bit with a recent scores being a 2-1 win, 2-2 draw, 6-2 win and 3-1 loss, meaning they’ve conceded 8 goals in 4 games.
Still, last year they beat St. Pauli 1-0 and 3-2 and this is a worse St. Pauli team.

Werder Bremen vs Koln Prediction
These teams are side-by-side in the table at 9th and 10th with Werder only better by 1 point.
Werder’s Bundesliga games average 3.2 GPG and Koln’s 3.5. Saying that, 3+ goals is not always certain in their games but 2+ usually is. Werder is 9-2 and Koln 8-3 to Over 1.5 totals.
The BTTS is an option but only 45% of Werder games have hit it, while 73% of Koln’s games (2nd-most) have.
Let’s look at all comps for both:
Werder lost 2-0 last week and only has 3 wins in 8, but only just 1 loss in 6. They had scored in 5 straight (7 total), prior to last week’s loss. They’ve also conceded in 10/12 overall matches. They also face a ton of shots against, the 2nd-most in the league.
Koln’s hot start has cooled way off with just 1 win in 6 matches and 2 in 10. They’ve conceded in 11/13, but scored in 12/13. Last week they lost 4-3 to Frankfurt.

Man City vs Leeds Prediction
Man City are 3rd but lost ground in the title race losing 2-1 to Newcastle last weekend, while Arsenal and Chelsea both won. Then Man City rested their entire team in the UCL this week and lost 2-0 at home to Bayer Leverkusen.
Leeds are in the relegation zone at 3-2-7 and outscored 22-11. They’ve lost 3 straight in the league 2-1, 3-1 and 3-0. On the road they’ve been outscored 15-4.
A rested and frustrated City team should rebound against this opponent. After only playing late in the Leverkusen game, Haaland should be fresh too.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
This is one of the matches of the weekend across Europa between 3rd Leverkusen and 4th Dortmund.
Leverkusen are rolling, after beating Man City in the UCL 2-0 and have now won 4 straight in all comps by a combined scored of 12-1. They’ve only lost to Bayern Munich and PSG since August 23 and have only failed to score vs Bayern.
Dortmund also had a big UCL win, routing Villarreal 4-0. They only have 1 win in 4, but have scored in every single game this season in all matches, and in he Bundesliga have only conceded 10 times.
In the 2 games between them last year we saw a combined 11 goals with Leverkusen winning 3-2 on the road and then Dortmund winning 4-2 on the road. The 2 games the season prior were both 1-1. The BTTS is 9-2 in the past 11 meetings.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Oviedo Prediction
This looks straightforward. Atleti are 3rd and are 6-1-0 at home. Oviedo are last, and outscored 20-7. Their road games have been at least relatively close, only being outscored 10-5.
Atleti were moments away from a 1-1 draw with Inter in the UCL this week, before a stoppage time goal got them a 2-1 win. They’ve now won 6 straight, scoring multiple goals in 5, and outscoring opponents 14-3 in that time.

West Ham vs Liverpool Prediction
Liverpool may be 12th and West Ham 17th, but on recent form it’s the Hammers who are actually in the ascendency. Liverpool have lost back-to-back EPL games 3-0 to Man U and even 16th Forest.
They again gave up multiple goals in the UCL this week, losing 4-1, at home, to PSV. They now have only 3 wins in 12 in all comps, easily their worst run of form in years.
West Ham is undefeated in 3 in the league 3-1 and 3-2 wins and a 2-2 draw. Still, they have just 3 wins in 13 overall matches this season, but have scored in 4 straight games and 8 in their past 3. Given Liverpool’s form, I think that scoring run can continue, but the Hammers have just 1 clean sheet all season.
Liverpool haven’t lost vs West Ham in 9 games (winning 8) but the Hammers have at least scored in 6/7.

Aston Villa vs Wolves Prediction
4th place Aston Villa will host 20th Wolves on Sunday morning.
It’s been all bad for Wolves who are still the only winless team at 0-2-10 while being outscored 27-7. The next worst teams all have 3 wins. It was, obviously another loss last weekend to Crystal Palace 2-0, their 6th straight defeat and the 6th straight where they’ve given up multiple goals, to go with a 3rd straight shut out. Malen didn’t have a shot on target last weekend, but he has in 5/6.
Villa’s 2-1 win over Young Boys with 2 goals from Malen in the UEL, gives them 4 straight wins where they’ve scored 2, 4, 2 and 2 goals, to go with wins in 10/12 where they’ve scored multiple goals 9/11.

Chelsea vs Arsenal Prediction
It’s 2nd hosting 1st here in a London Derby. And also the top 2 teams in set piece goals. If your book has that option, it could be a prop to consider.
Both had big midweek UCL wins. Arsenal taking down a previously undefeated Bayern Munich 3-1. That leaves the Gunners 16-2-1 in all matches this season with wins in 12/13 and multiple goals in 6 straight (16 total). After a run of 8 clean sheets, they have allowed 2, 1, and 1 goals in their last 3.
Chelsea also claimed a big scalp, easily beating Barcelona 2-0. They’re undefeated in 6, have 1 loss in 11, have scored multiple goals in 4 straight (10 total) and also have clean sheets in 3/3 and 3/4.
Last year it was tight, 1-0 Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and 1-1 at the Emirates. It could be tight again. A draw, a 1-1, or simply Arsenal to score in a parlay.

Sevilla vs Real Betis Prediction
The Seville Derby pits together 11th Sevilla at home to 5th Betis. This is not usually a high-scoring matchup but it was 2-1 Betis in the last encounter at home. Sevilla won 1-0 in their home game last year. With other scores of 1-1, 1-1, 0-0, and 1-1, the Under 2.5 is 5-1 of late.
This could be another 1-1. Betis are in good form. They won 2-1 in the UEL this week and are undefeated in 6 with only 1 loss in 15 and 2 all season. They are going to be short-handed though. Antony saw red last week so will miss out with suspension. Meanwhile, captain Isco returned last weekend from injury, but he and teammate Amrabat collided vs Utrecht in the UEL on Thursday and both had to leave the game. They should still have Cucho Hernandez to help them get on the scoresheet, something they’ve done in 16/18 overall games.
Sevilla lost to Espanyol 2-1 last weekend and didn’t play during the week so will be fresher. They only have 2 wins in 6. But have scored in 13/14 overall matches this season, only failing vs Atleti, but then have 11/14,

Girona vs Real Madrid Prediction
It’s a big mismatch in the standings with 18th Girona hosting 1st Real Madrid.
Girona is undefeated in 2 after beating Alaves 1-0 and drawing Betis 1-1.
Madrid was/is in turmoil and were winless in 3 games, but Mbapped scored 4 vs Olympiacos in the UCL this week and they won 4-3. Still, they conceded the opening goal and let the Greeks scrap back into the game which won’t feel good. Olympiacos actually oushot Madrid 19-13 and 8-5 in shots on target.
Girona has conceded multiple goals in 5/7 so maybe that’s a safer parlay leg than a Madrid win?
Either way you’d expect a win from Los Blancos who have won the last 4 vs Girona 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, and 3-0.
