The top domestic leagues in Europe return this weekend for more soccer action in the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A. We’ve picked out some of the top matches to cover in our soccer predictions and parlays.
Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
Brighton vs Brentford Prediction
These two teams have had a nearly identical start to the season with both sitting on 16 points and 17 goals scored. With 2 fewer goals conceded (15 vs 17) Brighton is 11th vs Brentford 12th.
The last meeting in April was 4-2 Brentford but the two prior games were both 0-0.
And Brighton’s last game was also 0-0, a rare one for them, as they have conceded in 10/14 overall games this season and in 9/11 EPL games, but in neither of their last two, a 3-0 win over Leeds and 0-0 with Crystal Palace. Brighton have also scored in 11/14. The 3 times they haven’t have all come on the road. Go back into last season and they’ve scored in 15/16 home games matches in all comps and are undefeated in 9. They’re also 11-10-3 in home EPL games going back to the start of last season.
That’s a similar trend for Brentford who have scored in 12 of their 14 overall matches, as well as multiple goals in 4/5. They too were shut out vs Palace, losing 2-0 recently. Thiago is one of the league’s top scorers with 8 goals for the Bees and he’s had 1+ shots on target in 7 (11 total) in that time.
Outside of a couple recent results, these teams have typically been good goals bets. Brighton have scored 10 home goals in 5 games, while Brentford have given up 10 on their travels. But Brentford’s recent goal outbursts make me think both can score here.

Newcastle vs Man City Prediction
Back-to-back losses and losses in 3/4 have seen Newcastle sink to 14th at just 3-3-5 and being outscored 14-11. They’ll get a boost being at home where they’re 3-0-2 and have scored 8 of those 11 goals.
Last year in Newcastle, the teams drew 1-1, while City won 4-0 in Manchester. When playing at home vs City, Newcastle is 1-2-1 and have scored in all 4. But if you’re picking a winner on Saturday, City has only lost once in 15 meetings with Newcastle.
Just focusing on Newcastle this season, they’ve won 4/6, but more recently they’ve lost 2/3, with a 3-1 loss, 2-0 win and 3-1 loss before the before the break to Brentford. In just the EPL, it’s only 3 wins in 11. Win or lose though, they’ve scored in 11 straight.
Man City hasn’t lost since a 1-0 defeat to Villa 5 games back, their only loss in 14 games, and only the 2nd time all season they’ve not scored. Since that Villa game, it’s been wins of 3-1, 3-1, 4-1 and 3-0 over Liverpool. So lots of wins, but BTTS is also 4-1 of late
Both teams’ top scorers had impressive international breaks. Woltemade scored twice vs Luxembourg and again vs Slovakia. Haaland scored twice vs Estonia and 2 more vs Italy to tie Lewandowski’s record of 16 goals during a World Cup qualifying campaign.
- Soccer Picks Today: BTTS (-160)
- Parlay Picks: BRI vs BRE btts / NEW vs MCI over 1.5 & Haaland 1+ sot (+120)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
Wolfsburg vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction
Wolves have only won 2 games this season and are 14th, while Leverkusen have only lost twice and are 5th.
Last season they drew 0-0 in Wolfsburg and Leverkusen won 4-3 at home. Leverkusen is undefeated in the last 7 meetings between them.
Since Week 1, Leverksuen has only lost to PSG and Bayern Munich. Their last game was a 6-0 route of Heidenheim, and they’ve scored in 15/16 overall matches only getting shut out to Bayern. There’s also been 2+ goals in 15/16 Leverkusen matches.
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg have only won once since Week 1. That win came vs Hamburger and it’s their only win in the last 10. Only the Hamburger win and a win way back in August in the Pokal vs a lower tier team are their only clean sheets so it’s unlike they keep Leverkusen off the scoresheet. Wolves also have as many as 10 players listed as out or doubtful.
I’d expect Leverkusen to win, but Wolves now have a new manager with Daniel Bauer taking over from Paul Simonis so they could get a bump.
- Soccer Picks Today: Leverkusen to score
Bayern Munich vs Freiburg Prediction
Bayern won 2-1 and 2-0 vs Freiburg last year and have won the last 5, also scoring multiple goals vs Freiburg in each of the last 4. They’ve also won 19/21 home games vs Freiburg in all comps.
Freiburg has only won 3/10 league games but overall their form is solid being 7-5-1 and only losing to Leverkusen in that time. In 16 overall matches they’ve only failed to score twice.
Bayern had a 16-game winning streak going until they drew Union Berlin 2-2 last game and needed to come back to do so. It did extend their streak of scoring multiple goals though to all 17 this season in all comps. In 13/16 they’ve scored 3+. In Bundesliga games alone, they’ve scored multiple times in 18 straight going back to last year.
- Soccer Picks Today: Bayern over 1.5

Koln vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction
9th Koln hosts 7th Frankfurt with the two separated by 3 points.
Frankfurt’s games gave average the most GPG at 4.2 and they almost always see at least 2 goals, going 9-1 to Over 1.5 in league play. Koln’s average 3.2 and they’re 7-3. Both have seen 70% of their matches cash bets on the BTTS, which is only below Hoffenheim and Augsburg at 80%.
Koln’s form is dipping now losers of 3/4 with 1 win in 5, but they’ve scored in 11/12 overall matches only failing to do so vs Dortmund. They also only have 1 clean sheet.
Frankfurt’s high-scoring games have come down a bit of late with a 1-1, 1-1, 0-0 and 1-0 win. They’ve not lost in regulation in 5 overall matches, but have only won 1/4, last game, 1-0 over Mainz. Only twice all season have they not scored—once vs Bayern in the league, and also vs Napoli in the UCL. Second leader scorer Uzun is set to miss out.

- Parlay Picks: BL to score / BM O1.5 & Kane to score / EF to score (+126)

Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao Prediction
Barca return to the Camp Nou, albeit still not fully finished, but the grand re-opening is this weekend. Only 45,000 of the 105,000 seats are ready though.
Pedri and De Jong out for Barca so the midfield has some issues. But Raphinha and Lewandowski could be back. That would give a big boost to the highest scoring offense in Spain that’s struck the back of the net 32 times. But, like usuall, the defense has been a downfall, conceding in 10 straight in all comps.
Barca games have seen some wild scores of late with: 4-2, 3-3, 3-1, 2-1, 6-1, 2-1, 4-1, 2-1, 2-1, and 3-1 in that time, and in fact there’s been 3+ goals in 15/16 games.
Nico Williams is also a returnee from injury n the Bilbao side. He scored in the 1-0 win over Oviedo. But Bilbao have only won 1/4 and 3/13 and those wins are Oviedo, Qarabag and Mallorca, not top teams.
Bilbao haven’t won at Camp Nou since 2002 and in the last 10 home or away, Bilbao have just 2 wins, none in La Liga, both being in the Copa del Rey and both in extra-time. They’ll have no away fans here for safety reasons at the new Camp Nou and while Barca concede to nearly everyone, Bilbao have just 3 GF in their last 4 games.
Barca won 2-1, 2-0 and 3-0 last year between them and another multi-goal game is likely.
- Soccer Picks Today: Barcelona over 1.5
Fiorentina vs Juventus Prediction
Serie A saw another coaching change during the international break:
- Atalanta went winless in 7, which saw Ivan Juric get the sack. In his place is former Monza and Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino
- Just before the international break both Genoa and Fiorentina replaced their coaches
- And Juventus changed manager at the end of October
20th and winless Fiorentina hosts 6th Juventus.
Getting win #1 may be hard here, considering Fiorentina has only scored 9 goals and Juve have only conceded 10. La Viola did stop a 3-game losing streak by drawing Genoa 2-2 last game.
Juve comes in off back-to-back draws, 1-1 and 0-0 and only have 2 wins in 12 overall matches, though 7 are draws.
Fiorentina did win in Florence 3-0 in the last meeting but that’s their only win vs Juve in 6 games.
Due to how many goals Fiorentina has allowed (18 in 11 games), they’ve been one of teams with a higher GPG average. Albeit still just 2.5. Still if we up the total to 3.5, they’re 8-3 to the Under, while Juve is 9-2.
Further things that could help this match being lower-scoring are that both Keane for Fiorentina and Vlahovic for Juve were injured doing the break, further weakening both offenses.
- Soccer Picks Today: Under 3.5
Villarreal vs Mallorca Prediction
After 3 straight leagues wins Villarreal are 3rd and they’ll host 15th Mallorca who only have 3 wins all season. Only 1 of those 3 wins for Mallorca have come on the road where they’re 1-0-5 and outscored 12-7.
Mallorca is still suffering from a slow start that saw them go winless in the first 6 match days. But since, in all matches, they’re 4-1-2 and their last game was a 1-0 win over Getafe.
Villarreal have been near-perfect at home at 5-1-0, outscoring opponents 16-3. Look across all comps and they’ve won 4/5, outscoring opponents 14-1 and have kept 4 clean sheets. Just a 1-0 loss to Pafos in the UEL was their lone slip in that time. Otherwise, their other losses across 12 matches have come to Man City and Real Madrid.
Last year Villarreal won 2-1 on the road and 4-0 at home. They’re undefeated in 4 in the matchup as well.
- Soccer Picks Today: Villarreal to win
- Parlay Picks: BAR O1.5 / FIO vs JUV U3.5 / VIl to win (+155)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #4
Cremonese vs Roma Prediction
11th Cremonese with 14 points hasts 2nd Roma with 24.
Cremonese won 2/3 opening games, but they have just 1 win in 9 and have lost 2-1 and 1-0 in their last 2 games. They’ve only kept 1 clean sheet in 7 in the win over Genoa.
Roma isn’t a high-scoring team but have won 4/5, scored multiple goals in 3/4 and recently won 2-0 and 2-0 over Rangers (UEL) and Udinese in the league.
Betting the Under 3.5 has been a good small addition to most parlays for many Serie A teams. It’s 9-2 for Cremonense, while Roma is a perfect 11-0.
- Soccer Picks Today: Roma to score (-600) and under 3.5 (-175) or under 4.5 (-334)
Real Betis vs Girona Prediction
Betis is just outside of the Champions League places sitting in 5th at 5-5-2. While the Los Verdiblancos could only draw Valencia 1-1 last round, they had won 3 straight prior and in 17 overall matches this season, they’ve suffered just 2 defeats. In 10 of their past 13 they’ve scored multiple goals.
Given Betis’ strong form and how they’re clicking offensively, that should continue vs Girona.
Girona is 18th at 2-4-6 and out have been outscored 24-11, allowing the most goals in the division. They also own the worse xGA at 22.0. With only 4 goals and 0 wins on the road, the stats look even worse on their travels.
- Soccer Picks Today: Real Betis to win
- Parlay Picks: ROM to score & U3.5 / RB win (+140)
