Osasuna vs Villarreal Prediction
Osasuna are 9th compared to Villarreal in 4th, but it’s Osa in better form off back-to-back wins, and Villarreal off two straight losses.
Osa have scored 3 goals in both wins lately, 3-1 and 3-2 and 2 goals in the game prior. At home they’ve scored in all 10 games in all comps. They also have the 6th-best home record at 6-2-2. Ante Budimir leads the team by far with 9 La Liga goals and 11 overall and has 3 goals in his last 2 games.
Villarreal are slumping with losses of 2-0, 2-1, 2-0 an 3-0 this week to Leverkusen in all comps and only have 2 wins in 9. They’re still the league’s 4th-highest scorers.
And when these team meet they both usually score. It was 2-1 Villarreal in September and before that scores have been 4-2, 2-2, 1-1, 3-1, and 3-0. Osa hasn’t won any of the past 8, but they may have a chance this time with Villarreal slumping, but Villarreal have scored 2+ goals in 6/7 vs Osa.

Elche vs Barcelona Prediction
Barca maintains a 1-pt lead over Real Madrid for first in La Liga. In Wednesday’s UCL action they went down 4 mins in to Copenhagen but stormed back with 4 second half goals from 4 different players to win 4-1. They beat Oviedo 3-0 last weekend, and had to fight back being down against Slavia Praha the week before in the UCL too. Before that, it was a 2-1 loss to Sociedad, their only loss in 15 games.
Elche have cooled off after a solid start and are winless in 4 league games and 5 in all comps. They’ve both scored 29 and allowed 29 and are 11th. Considering they’ve scored in 10 straight and 2 goals in back to back games, but have also conceded in 5 straight (11 total), they look like a prime candidate for an end-to-end Barcelona-style game.
Much like when they met in November and Barca won 3-1. Barca have won 11 straight by a combined 38-4. They’ve not lost to Elche since 1974. And they could win by a couple again, but I think Elche, can also contribute. They are strong at home, at 5-5-1, the 5th-best mark.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction
Frankfurt lost again this week in the UCL to Tottenham 2-0, and at least for this weekend, the interim coaching duo of Dennis Schmitt and Alexander Meier will remain on the bench for this weekend’s Bundesliga fixture against Bayer Leverkusen. But it looks like Albert Riera, the NK Celje coach is going to be named the new full-time coach. They may get top scorer Burkardt back from injury which would be a boost.
Frankfurt are in a tailspin, losers of 3 straight and winless in 7 in all comps, with just 1 win in 12. Giving up just 2 goals on Wednesday, was in some ways an improvement, as they had conceded 3 in each of the previous 5 games. Getting shut out was the first time they’d failed to score though in 8 games.
Leverkusen were struggling too with 3 straight losses but beat Werder 1-0 last weekend and then Villarreal 3-0 in the UCL. Both of those games were at home.
Leverkusen beat Frankfurt 4-1 in September and this is a crazy-high-scoring fixture and one mostly dominated by Leverkusen who have also won 4-1, 2-1, 5-1, 3-0, and 3-0 in past meetings. But if we go further back, there’s been 3+ between them in 16/17, BTTS is 10-2 and BTTS & Over 2.5 is 6-1 and 10-2.

Hoffenheim vs Union Berlin Prediction
One of the hottest teams in Germany is 3rd placed Hoffenheim who have won 4 straight, are undefeated in 6 and have outscored opponents 15-3 in that time. They’ve also lost just once in regulation in 14. They played on Tuesday, and went down to 10 men for most of the second half, so there could be some fatigue.
It’s hard to target just 1 player, as 11 different players have scored, 8 have multiple goals and 4 are tied with 6. 4-goal man Wouter Burger is suspended for this one.
9th Union aren’t having a bad season but after 3 straight draws, they lost 3-0 to Dortmund last week. That ended 10 games straight where they had scored, while they’ve now only kept 1 clean sheet in 9 games.
Union has scored 2+ goals vs Hoffenheim in 3 straight, but Hoffenheim won 4-2 in September. Last year it was 2-1 and 4-0 Union.

Hamburger vs Bayern Munich Prediction
Hamburg have back-to-back 0-0 draws, but vs St. Pauli and Gladbach. They’re winless in 5 and have scored just 3 goals in that time which isn’t going to be enough vs Bayern.
Munich have only 2 losses all season. After losing to Augsburg 2-1 last week, which snapped a 27-game league winning streak, they responded by winning 2-1 over PSV to finish 2nd in the UCL. They’ll want to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga, and in 29/31 overall matches this season they’ve scored multiple goals. That includes a 5-0 smackdown of Hamburg earlier this season.

Leeds vs Arsenal Prediction
Leeds keep collecting points after Monday’s 1-1 draw with Everton. Last week it was a 1-0 win over Fulham, which followed a 3-1 win in the FA Cup, and they’ve lost just once, in the finals seconds (4-3 to Newcastle) in their last 11 games, scoring in 13/14, and conceding in 19/21.
They conceded plenty to Arsenal in August when they lost 5-0.
The Gunners suffered just their 3rd loss of the season last week to Man U, losing 3-2. They had to work for it in the UCL vs the lowly Kairat, but won 3-2 on Wednesday.
Arsenal’s games have been a bit wider open lately with goal totals of 5, 5, 0, 4, 5 and 5 in recent weeks. They’ve also only shut out Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in their last 11.
Arsenal should be focused and ready to rebound after the Man U loss, but Leeds have been a tricky opponent more many teams lately. Since the start of December, Leeds have the fewest losses (1) in the EPL.

Wolves vs Bournemouth Prediction
Only Man U have seen more BTTS games than Bournemouth, and even with Semenyo gone, they still keep scoring, and are actually, results-wise, playing better. Last week they got goals from Evanilson, Jimenez and then a last gasp 95’ minute winner from Adli to beat Liverpool 3-2. In regulation they’re undefeated in 4. They’ve scored multiple goals in 5/6 and at least 1 in 9. But they’re always going to conceded, doing do in 9 straight (22 total) in that time.
It was a low-scoring 1-0 win for the Cherries over Wolves back in August, but Wolves are slightly improved since then, barely, but slightly. It’s been a 0-0 and 2-0 loss most recently, but it’s just 1 loss in 6 (Man City) and they’ve scored in 5/7.

Man U vs Fulham Prediction
Man U has seen 74% of their EPL games cash BTTS bets, the most overall. That was the case last week, in beating Arsenal 3-2 and it’s been the case in 5/6 and 11/12 and 14/17 of their recent matches across all comps. Maybe Amorin was the problem as they’ve beaten both Man City and Arsenal in their last 2 games. They’ll be missing fullback Patrick Dorgu this weekend through injury on the player front which is a loss in the chance creation department.
It’s only 2 wins in 6, but they have only lost 3 of 18.
Fulham are in a decent run of form themselves beating Brighton 2-1 last week with a last minute goal, giving them wins in 3/4 and only 1 loss in 8. The Cottagers have scored in 13/14, but also conceded in 11/13. With 17 pts in their last 8 league games, this is actually their best spell ever in their EPL history.
These teams drew 1-1 in August and had all low-scoring games last year: 1-0 Man U in the EPL, 1-1 in the FA Cup (Fulham win in PKs), and 1-1 again the EPL.
This could be another 1-1 or good BTTS game. I think Man U could carry some momentum from their last 2 wins and get a win here too. They’ve lost only 1/10 home EPL games and have only lost 1/20 vs Fulham in the league.
But they’re always hard to trust. So maybe let’s instead bet on them to score 2+.

Cremonese vs Inter Milan Prediction
I don’t often look to bet on road teams to win, but we could have a couple solid options in Italy this Sunday.
1st Inter travels to 14th Cremonese. Inter just beat Dortmund 2-0 in the UCL and won 6-2 over Pisa last weekend. They’ve only lost 1/11 in regulation (Arsenal) and have kept clean sheets in 3/5.
That’s and news for Cremonese who haven’t scored in 3 games, have been shut out in 7/8 and haven’t won any of those 8 games. They lost to Inter 4-1 earlier this season and any other than an Inter win again would be a shock.

Parma vs Juventus Prediction
Now we have 15th Parma hosting 5ht Juventus.
Only Lecce (13), has scored fewer goals than Parma this year with only 14 GF in 22 games. While they had two 0-0s, they lost 4-0 to Atalanta last weekend and have now been shut out in 3 straight and 4/5, with only 1 win in 5.
Juve could only draw Monaco 0-0 in the UCL this week, but they had won 3-0 and 2-0 previously, have clean sheets in 3 straight, 5/6 and 8/11, while only giving up 3 goals in that time. It’s also only 1 loss in those 11 games.
Juve started the season off with a 2-0 win over Parma, and given their tight defense, it looks like it should be near impossible for Parma to score here.
