Let’s look at 10 games from Saturday and Sunday across the EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga for this weekend’s soccer prediction.

Stuttgart vs Hoffenheim Prediction
After a brief slip up vs Dortmund, Hoffenheim were back in the win column last week smashing Hamburger 4-1. They’ve lost just once in regulation in 9 games, have scored multiple goals in 7 of those games, and 3 or 4 in 6. They’ve also conceded in 7/8.
Stuttgart is also coming off a 4-goal win, shutting out Bremen 4-0 last week, and that’s after a 4-1 win over Maccabi in the UEL. They’ve won 3/4, with only 2 losses in 9 and have scored multiple goals themselves in 9/12. There is a growing list of absentees, with 7 players injured or doubtful, but top scorer Undav is still there.
And when these teams who are currently 5th and 6th meet, there’s been 2+ goals in 13 straight and 19/20, the BTTS is 7-1 and both games last year ended 1-1.
- Soccer Picks Today: Both Teams to Score
Hamburger vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction
Frankfurt won 1-0 last week but have just 1 win in 5 and 3 in 10 so they’re a hard team to trust right now. Their games can be all over the map in goal-scoring, with 4, 5, 6 and more goals not uncommon, while also going 7-4 to Under 2.5 if their last 11. No matter the result, they usually score, doing so in 10/13, failing only vs RB Leipzig, Atalanta and Napoli in that time.
Hamburger is a step down from those opponents. They were blown out 4-1 by Hoffenheim last week. However, they’ve been slightly improved with a 3-2 win, 1-1 draw (PK loss in the Pokal) and 2-1 wins in the games before that. Win, lose, or draw, they usually concede doing so in 13/17 overall matches this season. Those clean sheets have come vs Gladbach, Union Berlin, Mainz and Heidenheim, and none of them have come in their last 7 games.
- Soccer Picks Today: Frankfurt to score
Man City vs West Ham United Prediction
Man City played midweek in the EFL Cup and beat Brentford 2-0, while getting the chance to rest Haaland and others. They’ve won 5 in a row, scoring 3, 5, 3, 2 and 3 goals.
West Ham only has 2 defeats in 7, but also 0 wins in 5. They’ve at least been scoring, doing so in 7/8, but also conceding in 13 in a row. And the defense won’t be helped with two fullbacks away at AFCON.
This matchup has been owned by Man City. They won 3-1 and 4-1 last year, have won 6 straight outscoring West Ham 18-4, are undefeated in regulation in 21 meetings (only losing once in PKs) and have scored multiple goals vs West Ham in 8 straight.
- Soccer Picks Today: Man City over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: STU vs HOF btts / EF to score / MCI over 1.5 (+122)
Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
Everton vs Arsenal Prediction
The best, and one of the better, defensive teams meet here with Arsenal only allowing 10 goals and Everton giving up the 7th-fewest with 19.
Both teams see among the lowest average goals in their games at 2.5 for Arsenal and 2.3 for Everton — only Sunderland and Crystal Palace have seen fewer. Both have been good Under 2.5 teams at 10-6 to the Under for the Toffees and 9-7 to the Under for the Gunners. And if we up that to 3.5, Everton is 14-2 and Arsenal 13-3.
Arsenal has still lost only twice all season in all comps so you can’t really bet against them. But they did just get past Wolves last week 2-1, with 2 late goals and two own goals. They recorded their lowest pressure numbers of the season.
Everton lost to Chelsea 2-0 last week and had won 3-0 and 1-0 in their games prior. Further, just one time in 14 recent games have they seen more than 3 goals in a game.
This matchup has also been tight in recent seasons being 1-1 and 0-0 last year and 2-1 and 1-0 Arsenal before that. Arsenal is 3-2-0 in the last 5.
A draw (+300) offers a great return, while Under 2.5 (-138) is certainly in play. Or the Under 3.5 in a parlay.
- Soccer Picks Today: Under 3.5
Leeds vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Leeds is definitely not good, but 13 of their 20 goals have come in home games. So have 12 of their 16 points. In 7 of 8 home games they’ve found the scoresheet, and if we look at all matches, while the wins are rare, they’ve still scored in 6 straight and are coming off a 3-1 win over Chelsea, and 3-3 and 1-1 draws with Liverpool and Brentford. They’ve also scored on City (2) and Villa in their last 5.
That gives them some hope against 5th Crystal Palace. Though Palace own the Prem’s top road record at 5-1-2, scoring 11 and conceding only 5, pulling down their league low GPG to 2.2.
After 3 straight wins they were shut out to Man City 3-0 last week though had a ton of 1st half chances they couldn’t finish. That was the first time 6 game they didn’t score. They’ll be without Ismaila Sarr who has 3 goals and is away with Senegal at AFCON.
Leeds hasn’t kept the ball out of their net in 13 games so I’d expect Palace to score, and maybe win. The question is more can Leeds score, and lately the answer is yes. Both teams have some in-form scorers. Mateta for Palace has 7 goals, and Calvert-Lewin for Leeds has 5 and have scored in 4 straight games.
I like the BTTS (-120) by itself, but there is still a chance this solid Palace defense keeps this low-scoring.
- Soccer Picks Today: Crystal Palace to score

Real Madrid vs Sevilla Prediction
Madrid are not in their top from right now. They played in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday vs 3rd Division side Talavera, and they won, but only by a 3-2 score. And they needed an Mbappe PK and own goal to do so. That game 2-1, until Mbappe scored again in the 88’ and Talavera pulled one back in the 91’.
They only beat Alaves 2-1 last week, lost the two games prior and only have 4 wins in 10 games.
Sevilla were in an all-La Liga matchup vs Alaves on Wednesday and lost 1-0, conceding a 79’ minute PK.
Sevilla beat last-placed Oviedo 4-0 last week, drew Valencia 1-1 before that and beat CD Extremadura 2-1 before that in the CDR. So they’ve been getting wins and points but those are relegation and lower level teams. While have shipped 24 goals which the 5th-most, they’ve also scored 24, which makes them the 6th-best attack.
Madrid won 4-2 and 2-0 last year and are undefeated in 13 (11-2-0). Sevilla also haven’t won on the road to Madrid since 2008. Home or away, it’s not usually a blowout though. Sevilla hasn’t lost by more than 2 goals to Madrid in 13 meetings.
Do I think Madrid wins? Yes. Am I little scared? Also yes. The way they’ve been playing, even a shaky team like Sevilla could, maybe hang around or at least score….
The other way to bet, could be on the spread. I just mentioned how Sevilla usually only loses by 1-2 to Madrid. This season, they’ve also only lost by more than 2 goals once (3-0 to Atleti). Madrid have only won by more than 2 goals once in their last 10 games and twice in 15.
- Soccer Picks Today: Sevilla on the +3.5 handicap
- Parlay Picks: EVE vs ARS U3.5 / CP to score / SEV +3.5 (+104)
Juventus vs AS Roma Prediction
With the Italian Super Cup taking place there’s only 6 games in Serie A this weekend.
The teams are side-by-side in the table and lately there is little between them when they meet up. Let’s look back at the last 6 head-to-heads.
- 1-1
- 0-0
- 1-1
- 1-0 Juve
- 1-0 Roma
- 1-1
Should we expect anything different this time? I don’t think so.
Roma has allowed the fewest goals in the league, still just 8. Their games average a league-low 1.6 GPG. They’re 12-3 to Under 2.5 and 14-1 to Under 3.5. They’ve won their last 2 games 1-0 and 3-0 and have allowed only 2 goals across their last 4 matches overall and 4 in their last 8.
Juventus has the lowest xGA and have allowed the 2nd-fewest shots on target against. Their games have averaged 2.2 GPG and they’re 10-5 to Under 2.5 and 13-2 to Under 3.5. They’ve also not lost at home in 12 matches. Further to that, when playing Roma at home, they’ve won 11/14 and kept clean sheets in 10 of those games. In all matches Roma has won just 1/10 vs Juve. It’s rare for road teams to win, something that’s happened just once in 10 games.
Vlahovic is out for Juve, while David hasn’t scored in 13 games. Meanwhile, Roma’s 16 GF are tied for the fewest among the top 12 teams. If we look at how Roma has performed against other big sides it’s been 1-0 losses to each of Napoli, Milan and Inter.
A draw (+225), Under 2.5 (-163), Juve double chance and Under 2.5 (-110) or Under 3.5 (-450) in a parlay.
- Soccer Picks Today: Juve double chance & under 2.5 (-110)

Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Villarreal vs Barcelona Prediction
Both teams played Tuesday in the Copa del Rey. Barca shut out CD Guadalajara 2-0, while Villarreal were upset 2-1 away to Segunda side Real Racing Club.
That’s 5 straight wins for Barca in all comps where they’ve scored multiple goals in all of them and a total of 17, while also keeping back-to-back clean sheets, which is a rarity. But Guadalajara and Osasuna are much weaker than the Yellow Submarine.
Villarreal are 3rd in La Liga and have the 3rd most GF, while giving up just 13, which is the fewest of any team. Their game last week vs Levante was postponed, so it is 2 losses in a row after losing to Copenhagen 3-2 in the UCL. Win, lose or draw they’e only failed to score 3 times in their last 19 games (Dortmund, Pafos, Man City).
This has been a wild matchup in recent season. Last year Barcelona won 5-1 on the road and then Villarreal won 3-2 on the road too. The year before, both won on the road as well, Barca 4-3 and Villarreal 5-3. A road team has not won 5 straight and also 8/9!!!
Despite Villarreal’s strong defense, it’s a rare game when Barca don’t score. But vs another top team it would be equally surprising to see them not concede.
- Soccer Picks Today: BTTS & Over 2.5
Aston Villa vs Man U Prediction
This game was just 0-0 in Villa and 2-0 Man U in Manchester last year. Man U has had success in this matchup despite their struggles recently being 5-1-0.
This is the only EPL match Sunday and I’m hoping it will be a good one. Villa has stretched their winning streak to 9 games. In that time they’ve scored 2, 4, 2, 2, 1, 4, 2, 2 and 3 goals. They’ve also conceded in 6/7 and have given up 3 to Brighton, 1 to Arsenal, 1 to Basel and 2 to West Ham in their last 4.
Now they meet a slightly surging Man U team who are up to 6th in the table. After a wild 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday, their 30 GF are tied with Arsenal and only behind the 38 of Man City. However, the 26 GA are the 6th-most in the EPL.
Man U also scored 4 times in the game before beating Wolves 4-1 and they’re 2-2-0 in their last 4 with just 1 loss in 10.
The BTTS bet is 8-1 and there’s been at least 2+ goals in 16/17 overall matches. But, there are some big missing pieces for Man U with the likes of Mbeumo (top scorer), and Amad and Mazraoui. Casemiro is also suspended and Amorin has said they’ll need to change their shape. On the road and with many missing pieces, I’d rather just focus on Villa.
- Soccer Picks Today: Aston Villa over 1.5
Heidenheim vs Bayern Munich Prediction
Ok I’m not saying that -700 is a good price, but it actually doesn’t seem that bad for the 1st place Bayern over 17th Heidenheim.
With only 13 goals scored in 14 goals, Bayern have almost quadrupled that goal output with 51.
Heidenheim had two wins of 2-1 each over Union and Freiburg but then fell 2-1 to St. Pauli last week. Before those wins they had lost 3-0 and 6-0. So big defeats are not too far in their rearview mirror.
Bayern have still yet to lose in the league, but … they did draw Mainz 2-2 last week. And defense has been shaky of late giving up 2, 1, 0, 2, 1, 3, 2, 2 and 1 goals in recent games. I’d expect a draw to lowly Mainz to wake up them before the winter break. They’ve also scored multiple goals in 23/24 overall games, only failing vs Arsenal.
This has typically been a high-scoring affair and Heidenheim did get 1 home win 2 year ago. Scores were 4-2 and 4-0 Bayern last year and 4-2 Bayern, 3-2 Heidenheim the season before. They also have a 5-4 (Bayern) between them in the 2019 Pokal.
- Soccer Picks Today: Bayern over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: VIL vs BAR btts & O2.5 / AV O1.5 / BM O1.5 (+214)
