Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Head-to-Head
These teams have met once, during the 2022 Club World Cup Final, won by Madrid in an 8-goal thriller, 5-3.
Real Madrid Preview
Real Madrid fell out of the title picture in Spain this year as Barcelona got hot and took 1st. Los Blancos weren’t far off finishing 2nd, 4 points back, but just weren’t good enough this season.
In Copa del Rey Final they also lost to Barca, losing 3-2, meanwhile in the Champions League they were knocked out in the quarterfinals to Arsenal. They also lost to Barca in the Spanish Super Cup Final.
It was solid year for Mbappe though as he finished with 31 goals in 34 games to win the scoring title.
They did finish the year with 3 straight wins and were 7-0-3 in their final 10, only losing to Barca (twice) and Arsenal. They also scored multiple goals in each of their last 6.
Madrid ended the season with tons of injuries and while each of Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba, Endrick, and Ferland Mendy came to the US, they’ve all still been dealing with injury, so too is Antonio Rudiger.
They have added some reinforcements already in Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Franco Mastantuono.

Al Hilal Preview
Al Hilal came up just short in the Saudi Pro League by 8 points in the title race losing out to Al-Ittihad, with 75 points compared to 83. They were dominant offensively putting up 95 goals, 15 more than the next highest scorers Al-Nassr.
Their last game came on May 26, a 2-0 win, making them undefeated in 8 games at 5-3-0, outscoring opponents 22-10.
If you want to bet on player props, Al Hilal had 4 players hit double-digit goals with Aleksandar Mitrovic, Marcos Leonardo, Salem Al-Dawsari, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic scoring 19, 17, 15 and 12 goals respectively. Al-Dawsari also put up 15 assists as their key set-up man. Malcolm had 9G/10A as well.
Mitrovic in all comps, totaled 28 goals in 36 total matches last season.

Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Prediction
Both teams have a new man on the sidelines with Xabi Alonso coming over from Leverkusen to replace Carlo Ancelotti for Madrid, and Al Hilal seeing Inter Milan’s old coach Simone Inzaghi joining their side.
Alonso returns to the club where he’s made 236 appearances.
Despite shutouts in their final 2 games, Madrid had allowed 1, 4, 2 and 3 in their 4 games prior. Granted 2 of those 4 were vs Barcelona, but their defense can be got at. This is a team that’s won 6 Club World Cups and will be heavily expected to win.
The best value is including something on Al Hilal here. The BTTS & Over 2.5 is -105 and Madrid to win and BTTS is +162.
