But … a weather delay with a few minutes left paused things. When they finally came back, Benfica drew level with an Angel di Maria OK in the 95′ and we were off to extra-time. With Benfica having taken a red card just before scoring the PK, they were down a man for ET. From there, it was all Chelsea scoring 3 goals from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for a 4-1 win.

Neto didn’t play vs Esperance, but in his 3 games he’s started he’s scored in all 3 and has shot totals of

There are a bunch of suspensions in this one with Nicolas Jackson out for Chelsea and Gustavo Gomez and Joaquin Piquerez for Palmeiras. Palmeiras is also now out defender Murilo with a thigh injury.
Chelsea added Joao Pedro in the summer transfer window so could use the new ex-Brighton man if needed.
