MLS Week 37 takes place on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 with 13 and 2 games on the two days. Let’s cover 7 games in this second-to-last matchday for our weekend MLS predictions.
MLS Picks and Parlays #1
We have example of two clear bad teams and two clear good teams in these first two legs of a 3-game parlay here.

Montreal vs Nashville Prediction
Montreal is 13th and Nashville is 6th, still fighting for a top 4 spot, and to avoid dropping to the play-in spot in the playoffs.
The Yotes come in off of a hight beating Austin in the USOC Final 2-1 on Wednesday. They also won 3-1 last weekend in MLS and have won 3/4 and scored in 8/9 and multiple goals in 4 straight.
Surridge has goals in 4/5 games (6 total) and a shot on target in 11/12 and multiple in 6/8.
Mukhtar has 1 goal in each of his last 3 games and 1+ shot on target in 6/7.
Montreal won 4-1 last week over Charlotte, but Charlotte took an early red card which completely changed the game. The Crown had scored first. Montreal has 2 wins in 10 and have conceded in 15 straight. They also lost 3-0 to Nashville earlier this season.
Prince Owusu had a goal and 4 shots on target last week and 1+ shot on target in straight.
- MLS Picks Today: Nashville to score
DC vs Charlotte Prediction
DC is 15th in the East, and Charlotte 5th, basically in the same situation as Nashville as both have 53 points.
As mentioned Charlotte lost last week but they played a man down most of the game. They did lose the game prior though too vs NYC 2-0 so maybe they are taking a dip at the wrong time. Still, they had won 6 straight prior. The NYC game is the only game in 31 games where they had not scored.
DC improved slightly at 1-3-0 in 4 games, but then lost 3-2 to Miami and 6-0 to Philly last week. They were staying in games, but maybe last week the dam broke. It can’t get as bad as 6-0 and they do usually score, doing so in 10/12. They’ve also conceded in 12 straight and already lost 2-1 to Charlotte this season.
- MLS Picks Today: Charlotte to score
Inter Miami vs New England Prediction
This should be a Miami win. They’re home, they need to hold onto their top 4 home playoff spot, and New England are 11th, eliminated and they have 1 win in 5 games and 3 in 17. They’ve already lost to Miami once this season 2-1 as well.
The one win did come last week. And everyone gets up to play Miami. Games have been coming quick for the Herons as they make up all of their league games. They’ve only won 3/7 and none of their past 2, drawing TFC 1-1 and losing to Chicago 5-3 on Tuesday.
So, I’m just going to bet Miami to score 2, instead of winning.
The BTTS bet for Miami is now recently 24-7 across their past 31 overall matches. The BTTS & Over 2.5 is 14-5. Miami has just 3 clean sheets in their past 31 overall matches as well. But they’ve scored in 16/20 since the CWC.
- MLS Picks Today: Miami over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: NAS to score / CHA to score / MIA over 1.5 (-106)
MLS Picks and Parlays #2
Orlando vs Columbus Prediction
Orland are 7th in the East and Columbus 9th. The Lions have small chance up jumping into a top 4 spot, but can also fall into a play-in game spot and be passed by either Chicago (8th) or this Crew team who are right behind.
Neither team is in top form right now. While Orlando hasn’t lost in 3, they have just 1 win in 7. The last 3 are a 1-1 draw, 3-2 win and 1-1 draw with Cincy last week. The BTTS is 6-0 and 18-1, only not hitting in a game vs Toluca in the League Cups quarterfinals. Even the BTTS & Over 2.5 is 14-5 in that time.
That could be a trend to keep betting on, but the Crew are in poorer form right now and are riddled with injuries. Columbus lost 2-0 in Chicago last week and I watched that game, and it could have been much much worse. The Fire had tons of chances outshooting them 22-7 and 9-1.
Columbus is winless in 3 and have 1 win in 7 themselves (vs ATL). The BTTS is 5-2 in those 7 and while their previous 3 games had scores of 5-4, 3-2 and 1-1, they’re missing Rossi and Ali, plus Ford, Zawadzki, and Camacho. Rossi and Camacho are questionable, but you’d expect them to not get the full 90 even if they play.
Columbus had won 3 straight (2-0, 2-0, 4-3), but this year it was Orlando winning 3-1 in Columbus in July. Enrique (no longer with the team) had a brace, Ojeda had the other and Rossi scored a PK.
- MLS Picks Today: Orlando to win

Austin vs St. Louis Prediction
Austin just missed a chance at silverware losing the USOC 2-1 to Nashville.
Austin won’t make the top 4 but they could still slip to the play-in game being in 6th.
Austin has not low 2-1 and 3-1 in recent gams but have scored in 11/12.; There’s been 2+ goals in 12 straight of their matches too.The BTTS is 11-1 in that time too.
St. Louis just lost 3-0 to LAFC but were 2-1-0 in the games prior. They had scored in 8 in row prior too. The BTTS is 7-2, the Over 2.5 is 10-2. St. Louis has just 1 clean sheet in 22 games.
The last two meetings were just 1-0, St. Louis winning last year and Austin this year.
- MLS Picks Today: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: ORL win / AUS vs STL over 1.5 (+131)
MLS Picks and Parlays #3
Let’s focus on both Sunday games.
Vancouver vs San Jose Prediction
Vancouver comes in off a big Canadian Championship title win this week, beating another Vancouver side Vancouver FC, with a 4-2 win. Ahmed scored twice, won tournament MVP, Muller scored a PK and Ryan Gauld returned from injury late in the game and instantly scored on what I think was his first touch/shot in the 83’.
The Caps have an outside shot of catching Philly for the Supporters’ shield but it’s unlikely and may already be out of the question before this game kicks off. But being tied with San Diego on 57 points, they can still win the West.
The game means a lot to San Jose too who are 9th, with the final play-in spot. They have 38 points, and each Dallas (38), RSL (37) and Houston (36) are all within striking distance.
The Caps have drawn their last 2 MLS games but haven’t lost overall in games, have scored multiple goals in 5/7 and are starting to get healthy, though Brian White are back from injury recently, only to leave last weekend’s game again and didn’t play midweek.
San Jose doesn’t win often but they did win last week 1-0 over San Diego and have 3 wins in 7, which still isn’t that great. They have 1 win 4 and had lost 3-1, 4-2 and 3-1 in their 3 games prior. Last week’s shut out was out of nowhere as that’s their only clean sheet in 17 games. The BTTS had been 16-0 before that.
San Jose won 2-1 back in August in the last meeting.
- MLS Picks Today: Vancouver over 1.5

LAFC vs Atlanta Prediction
Atlanta has nothing to play for being 14th in the East. LAFC should hold onto a top-4 home playoff spot, and can still jump from 4th to 1at, being 4 points back of SD and VAN and having only played 30 games.
It’s all for news for LA lately since Son arrived. LA have won 4 straight, 4-2, 4-1, 4-1 and 3-0. They have 1 loss in 11. Son had 2 goals last game and has 7 goals in those last 4 LAFC wins and shots on target totals of 1, 4, 3, and 2.
Bouanga has goals of 3, 1, 3 and 1 in his last 4 games and shots on target totals of 5, 1, 5 and 3.
In a crazy stat, these two have scored all of LAFC’s last 17 goals!
The only worse road team than Atlanta is the LA Galaxy. Atlanta is 1-5-9 with just 8 points and have been outscored 29-9 on their travels.
Last week they lost 2-0 on the road to New England and they have 1 in all matches in 7 and 2 in 18.
- MLS Picks Today: LAFC over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: VAN O1.5 / LAFC O1.5 (+104) OR Bouanga to score too (+151)
