LAFC vs Seattle Preview
LAFC met up with Vancouver again in the playoffs and won 2-1, lost 3-0 and won 1-0 to advance. That Game 2 loss in Vancouver is their only loss in 9 games now and the only time they’ve failed to score in 12.
Seattle also comes in with blazing hot form, now undefeated in 9 games. They played 2 tight games with Houston in Round One, drawing both, 0-0 and 1-1 and winning in PKs in both. They got the win last game even without Jordan Morris and Albert Rusnak.
All Seattle games are close. The Under 2.5 is 8-3. They’ve only allowed 4 goals in 9 games and while they’ve scored in 7/9, they’ve only scored more than 1 goal once in 6 games. Defensively, Seattle has allowed more than 1 goal just once in 11 games.
This is the 5th meeting between them this season and LAFC has taken all 4. First with 2-1 and 3-0 wins in MLS, then a 3-0 win in the Leagues Cup and then again, a 1-0 win in the US Open Cup.
LAFC’s dominance goes back further, though now with 6 straight wins and undefeated at 8-2-0 in 10. They knocked out Seattle at this round of the playoffs last season too.
LAFC vs Seattle Sounders Picks
Given this I’d expect LAFC to advance but Seattle certainly have a chance to pull an upset and it should be close. Let’s look to Denis Bouanga to include in a same-game-parlay too.
He’s scored in 2/4 games, had had 3+ shots in 6 straight games and while he didn’t have a shot on target last game, he did in each of his previous 8l.
- LAFC vs Seattle Sounders Prediction: LAFC to score + Under 4 goals + Bouanga 1+ shot on target (+100) Bet365
