Leg 2 of the Europe League Knockout Round Playoffs kick off this week on Thursday, February 20. Let’s get into each game with some picks and parlays in this week’s Europa League predictions.

Galatasaray vs AZ Alkmaar Prediction
We’ll start of this week’s Europa League picks with a two-game parlay.
In Leg 1, AZ ran wild scoring 4 goals in a 4-1 win and with Galatasaray taking a red card mid-way through the game which didn’t help their cause.
Galatasaray’s loss to AZ last week was just their 2nd loss in 31 games in all comps. Despite the loss they still kept the scoring streak going scoring in all of those games. They did concede in 14/17. They’ll have short turnaround playing Monday vs Rizespor where they continued to score and got back to winning ways winning 2-1.
AZ has a big rest advantage having not played since the UEL and have won 4 straight now with only 2 losses in 18. They also always score doing so in 17/18.
This game may be out of reach for Gala, but back home in Turkey I expect some pushback but with all of the attacking they’ll have to do, there will likely be plenty of chances for AZ to score too.
- Europa League Picks: Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5
Anderlecht vs Fenerbahce Prediction
In Leg 1 Fenerbahce handled Anderlecht outshooting them 6-2 in shots on target and 3 different players scored in a 3-0 win.
Anderlecht won 1-0 thid weekend but it’s only 2 wins in 6 overall matches. They do have clean sheets in those 2 wins but have conceded in 6/8.
Fenerbahce kept winning with a 3-1 one in Turkey this weekend, have won 5 straight outscoring opponents 16-3 in that time and are 11-3-0 going further back and scoring multiple goals in 12 of those 14.
It’s another game where the team who lost heavily are back home in Leg 2 and need to attack, but Anderlecht aren’t as prolific of scorers as Gala. Some way though, I want to see 2+ goals. Fenerbahce could score those 2 on their own but also don’t need the win.
- Europa League Picks: Over 1.5
- Parlay Picks: GAL vs AZ btts & O2.5 / AND vs FEN over 1.5 (+114)
Roma vs Porto Prediction
In Leg 1 each scored once and it ended 1-1 in Italy. There were 6 shots on target, with Roma leading 4-2. Roma’s Bryan Cristante took a red in the 72’ minute so will miss out here.
Roma beat Parma 1-0 this weekend so have only lost once in 7 games and twice in 14 and their games have been close lately going 5-1 to the Under 2.5.
Porto also won 1-0 this weekend, are undefeated in 6 (2-4-0) and the Under 2.5 is 6-1 of late.
I liked the draw in Leg 1 between them and I like it again. The Draw or the Under.
- Europa League Picks: Draw (+250)

FCSB vs PAOK Prediction
In Leg 1 PAOK scored first early 21 minutes in but then took a red at the half and FCSB got 2 second-half goals to win 2-1.
FCSB has won 3 straight, are undefeated in 5 and have only 2 losses in 18, with 1 coming to Man U.
PAOK routed Larnia 7-0 this weekend but Larnia are last in Greece. They have only 2 wins in 5 the other being vs 8th OFI, and just 4 wins in 11.
A red card skews the result from Leg 1 but Steau are in better form and at home.
- Europa League Picks: Steaua Bucharest Draw No Bet (+100)

Viktoria Plzen vs Ferencvaros Prediction
In Leg 1 it was tight with only 5 shots on target. Plzen led with 3 to 2 and won 1-0. Plzen created some chances and had 58% possession but could never push through. Ferencvaros’ top scorer Barmabas Varga took a late yellow in the 89’ which will come back to haunt him with a suspension for this game.
Plzen got a win this weekend in the league but have only won 2/5 but then all 3 losses were on the road, and they’ll be home here. Their only home loss in any game going back to March 2024 was in December to Man U, 2-1 and only once in 24 overall home matches have they not scored.
The win last week for Ferencvaros is their only win in 5 and 2nd in 9. They lost this weekend to Paks.
Lean to a Plzen win.
- Europa League Picks: Plzen to win (-160)
Next up is a three-game parlay from the remaining games.
Bodo/Glimt vs Twente Prediction
In Leg 1 Twente led for most of the game scoring in the 5’ minute but Bodo scored late in the 85’, and with it looking like a draw, Twente scored with a PK in the 95’ minute for the win.
Bodo’s been off since last week with their season on break. In 2025 they’ve won 3-1, drew 1-1 and lost 2-1 all in the UEL. They’ve played in 3 friendlies too, all losses, 5-3, 3-0 and 3-2. In competitive games they BTTS is on a 6-0 and 11-1 run going back into last year.
Twente won 2-0 in the Netherlands this weekend and are 4-2-0 in 6 overall matches now outscoring opponents 13-8 so have been scoring plenty but also giving up some goals have allowed a goal in 9/11.
- Europa League Picks: Both Teams to Score
Real Sociedad vs Midtjylland Prediction
In Leg 1 both put 3 shots on target, and Sociedad scored twice early to take a 2–0 lead and hold on to win 2-1.
Sociedad lost 3-0 to Betis this weekend but had won 4/5 before that scoring 2 goals in all 4 of those wins.
Midtjylland’s first game back in their league was this weekend and they won 1-0, that being their only non-UEL game since December 1.
I’d expect Sociedad to win again here back home in Spain but that’s only -200, so perhaps another win where they score twice would pay better at -112. In this parlay, Sociedad to simply score is another option.
- Europa League Picks: Sociedad to score
Ajax vs Union Saint-Gilloise Prediction
It was all Ajax in Leg 1 outshooting USG 7-4 and with goals in the 59’ and 71’ they won 2-0 in Belgium.
Ajax kept winning this weekend winning 4–0 over Heracles, have won 4 straight outscoring opponents 12—2 and have lost only twice in 12 games, both on the road. They’re home here where they’ve lost just once in in competition (3-1 to Lazio) in 34 games going back to November 2023 when they lost a 2nd time and this time to another team in a top league, Brighton.
USG lost again this weekend 1-0 and have lost 2 in a row and 3/5 but prior to these 2 recent defeats that had just 2 losses in 21 games so had been rolling hot for some time. They had also scored in 12 straight and in 20/21 of those games before they recent losses.
It would be no surprise to see Ajax win again here and at -125 it’s an ok bet on its own, or simply betting Ajax to score in a game where they don’t need to win works for this parlay.
- Europa League Picks: Ajax to score
- Parlay Picks: BG vs TWE btts / SOC to score / AJA to score (+115)
