Real Betis vs Chelsea Head-to-Head
The only other meetings were in the 2005 UCL with both winning at home, Chelsea 4-0 and Betis 1-0.
Before that it was 2 Chelsea wins in the 1997/98 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.
Real Betis Preview
Path to the final:
- Were only 15th in the League Phase at 3-1-2 and scored 6, while allowing 5
- In the Round of 32 beat Gent 3-0 in Leg and then lost 1-0 in Leg 2
- In the Round of 16 drew Vitoria Guimares 2-2 and then routed them 4-0
- In the Quarterfinals, did enough in Leg 1 beating Jagiellonia of Poland 2-0 before drawing 1-1 in Leg 2
- And then in the semis, beat Fiorentina 2-1 and then drew 2-2
Look at all matches though and Betis, after a run that saw them go 13-3-2 across matches, end the season winless in 5 games at 0-4-1.
Some focus has likely been taken away from the end of the season with a chance at a title in their sights, but still, their last win was May 4.
Since, it’s been scores of 2-2, 1-1, 2-2, 4-1 (loss) and 1-1 last Friday vs Valencia.
This sees a wild run of BTTS bets continuing to cash, now at 11-0. Betis have scored in 20 straight games, while they’ve conceded in 11 straight and in 17/20.

Chelsea Preview
Path to the final:
- Were 1st in the League Phase and perfect at 6-0-0 and blew teams away 26-5
- Had a bye in the Round of 32
- In the Round of 16 beat Copenhagen 2-1 and 1-0
- In the quarters it was 3-1 Chelsea in Leg 1 and 2-1 Legia in Leg 2
- And in the semis they cruised past Djurgarden 4-1 and 1-0
In all matches Chelsea finished strong with only 1 loss in 8 and just 3 losses in 18. Their games have been tight, winning 1-0 on the final matchday on Sunday over Forest to clinch a UCL spot.
They’ve kept clean sheets in 3/4 and the Under 2.5 is 4-0 with three 1-0 wins and a 2-0 loss. The Blues have scored in 10/11 and 16/19.

Real Betis vs Chelsea Picks
On one hand, we’ve seen high-scoring games with Betis for months, while Chelsea’s have been much tighter of late.
Based on where both finished in their leagues, it’s mostly pride and prize money on the line. A spot in the Europa League League Phase has already been clinched for Betis. Meanwhile, Chelsea have clinched the Champions League, so winning a Europa League is irrelevant.
However, they could go hunting to become the first team to ever win all four UEFA club tournaments (UCL, UEL, Super Cup and now CL).
Chelsea had the better record overall in the tournament and were easily the highest scorers, though Betis’ Bakambu with 7 goals, was only eclipsed by Jagiellonia’s Pull in the scoring race so far.
With players like Isco and Antony playing at a high-level Betis can’t be underestimated. They’ll also be more rested having been off since Friday.
Chelsea is the obvious pick. But this means so much more to Betis. In finals anything can happen and we’ve already seen underdogs like Crystal Palace, Bologna, and Sunderland, win in the FA Cup, Coppa Italia and Championship Playoff Final.
- Conference League Final Prediction: BTTS (-120) or best return Betis to lift trophy (+200) at Caesars.
