After a busy week of Champions League, Europa League and Conference League action, we’re back to the domestic leagues this weekend. In this weekend’s soccer predictions and parlays, we’ll cover 9 games in the EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga for our top soccer picks.

We’ll start on Saturday in the EPL and La Liga for these soccer picks.
Newcastle vs Leicester Prediction
Leicester’s games have been filled with goals all season, averaging the 4th-most at 3.4 GPG.
Newcastle’s have been lower at 2.7 but their last 2 games have been a 3-3 draw and 4-2 loss.
Leicester have seen a 3-1 win and 2-2 draw since Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge and with 4-1 and 2-1 losses before that, the story for the Foxes is usually goals goals goals. The BTTS in all comps this season is 14-4. They’ve given up a goal in 15/18 and scored in 16/18 too.
Newcastle are now winless in 4 games, conceding in all 4 and 2+ in 3/4. Playing at home is still a good place for Newcastle bets though, generally. They’ve not won their last 2, but in all comps are 9-6-2 going back into last season.
To me the obvious bets look like a Newcastle win or maybe the BTTS and Over 2.5, but for some reason, I’m just not sure I fully trust Leicester here.

Wolves vs Ipswich Prediction
It’s a relegation battle between 18th and 19th. Ipswich may be 18th but they have just 1 win compared to the 2 wins of Wolves who are below them. They’ve both been outscored by -13 and -15 margins.
Ipswich haven’t lost by more than 1 in 7 games and have only given up multiple goals once in 6 games, but in all comps this season they’ve been scored on 15/16.
The story is about the same for Wolves who have lost 3 straight while being outscored 10-3 in those games. The 38 GA in the EPL are easily the most, they’ve conceded multiple goals in 13/17 in all comps this season and at least 1 in 15/17.
Wolves usually can score though, they have 23 GF compared to the 14 for Ipswich. And they’ve scored 15/17. The BTTS & Over 2.5 has been a moneymaker hitting in 11/13 recent games and the Over 2.5 alone being 12-1.

Sevilla vs Celta Vigo Prediction
Two mid-pack teams meet here with 13th Sevilla hosting 10th Celta Vigo.
Celta’s games have been more wide-open at 3.3 GPG and being 11-5 to Over 2.5, while Sevilla’s average 2.5 and they’re 10-6 to the Under.
Celta won 7-0 in the CDR and 2-0 in recent games and have just 1 loss in 7. They’re now on a streak of scoring in 7 straight and have scored in 16/18 overall games while conceding though in 14/18.
Sevilla have scored 3 in back-to-back games, a 3-1 win in the Copa del Rey and a 4-3 loss to Atleti last week which saw them cough up a 3-1 second-half lead and lose in stoppage time.
Last season they drew 1-1 and Celta won 2-1. The BTTS has now gone 5-0 in recent meetings and 9-1 further back. There’s been at least 2 goals in 19 of their past 21 meetings as well.

Let’s go into Sunday in the EPL and La Liga for these soccer predictions.
Man City vs Man U Prediction
In the last Manchester Derby in August they met in the Community Shield which ended 1-1 with City winning in PKs. Last season Man City won 3-1 and 2-1 in the EPL and Man U won 2-1 in the FA Cup. The BTTS has now hit in 7/8 and the BTTS & Over 2.5 in 6/8. There’s been 3+ goals in 7/8 recent meetings.
And I would expect that trend to continue on Sunday.
The Man City struggles continued this week losing 2-0 in Italy to Juventus in the UCL. Meaning it’s just 1 win in 10 for Pep’s boys. In that time, the one 3-0 win over Forest, is the only time they’ve won, the only clean sheet and more incredibly the only time they’ve not allowed 2+ goals in that time.
Man U played in the Europa League Thursday vs Viktoria Plzen so will have less rest and be on the road. They won 2-1 with a brace from Rasmus Hojlund.
Man U is not in terrible overall form. They had lost 2-0 and 3-2 before the Plzen win. But overall are 6-2-2 in 10, have only 4 losses in 20 and have scored in 12/13.

Chelsea vs Brentford Prediction
High-flying Chelsea in 2nd will host 9th-place Brentford on Sunday.
These are 2 of the 3 teams whose games average the highest GPG, with Brentford 2nd at 3.9 and Chelsea 3rd at 3.5. The Bees are 12-3 to Over 2.5 and the Blues 9-6.
Brentford are tied with Leicester for the most BTTS games at 87%, while Chelsea’s have hit the prop 73% of the time.
Chelsea played Astana in the Conference League Thursday and won 3-1. They are now undefeated in 9 In all comps, have won 6 straight while scoring multiple goals in all 6 (19 total) and have only not scored twice in any match all season.
Brentford won last weekend 4-2 at home over Newcastle and while their home games are typically higher scoring than their away games, all Brentford games usually see goals and in any comps the BTTS is 14-1 of late, the BTTS and Over 2.5 is 12-3 and they’ve scored in 16/18 games this season.
Brentford has managed to score 2 goals vs Chelsea in each of the past 3 meetings and in 3/4. The last three have been 2-0 and 2-0 wins for the Bees and most recently a 2-2 draw.
Both teams have 2 players inside the Top-7 for scoring with Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson having 11 and 8 goals for the Blues and each of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa having 9 for the Bees.
For all the positive scoring trends we’ve talked about, Brentford on the road is not the same as at home as they have just 5 road goals in 7 EPL games.

This, 2-leg parlay at +122 may be enough. Or for extra value you could look to what should be a straightforward Barcelona win.
Barcelona vs Leganes Prediction
Slumping leaders Barcelona could be in a spot to get back to winning ways when they host 17th Leganes. Barca had won only 2 of 6 overall games and drew Betis 2-2 last weekend, But in the UCL they won this weekend in Germany 3-2 over Dortmund. The game did see Raphinha leave early injured but he’s been cleared to train again already.
Leganes overall form isn’t awful, being 4-4-4 in all comps, but 2 of those wins came in the Copa del Rey and their last game was 3-0 loss at home to Sociedad who usually struggle to score many goals. They aren’t terrible on the road with just 6 road losses in 17, with a ton of draws, but keep in mind much of this goes back into last year’s Segunda league.
BTTS bets have been strong in recent games on the road for Leganes being 7-0. BTTS & Over 2.5 bets have gone 5-1 in Barca games and the Over 2.5 alone is 6-0. Barca themselves, have scored 2+ goals in 21/24 La Liga games going back to last season.
They’ve not played since 2020 and don’t have many all-time meetings, but Barca is 8-0-1 and have outscored Los Pepineros 26-7.

Sunday’s soccer predictions in the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A.
Heidenheim vs Stuttgart Prediction
16th Heidenheim hosts 8th Stuttgart.
Both played midweek. Stuttgart on Wednesday in the UCL where they routed Young Boys 5-1. They’ve now won 3 straight and are in 4-1-1 in 6 in all comps, scoring 16 goals in those 6 games. In 23 games across all comps Stuttgart has scored 21 times.
And Heidenheim Thursday in the Conference League vs Istanbul Basaksehir where they lost 3-1 in Turkey. That extends their losing streak now to 6 games overall while being outscored 21-6. Goal totals in those losses have been 4, 7, 2, 4, 6 and 4.
They also have just 1 win 10 and 2 in 13.
Both are seeing well over 3 GPG, with Stuttgart games averaging 3.8 and Heidenheim’s 3.5. They’re 10-3 and 8-5 to the Over 2.5 respectively and 12-1 (STU) and 10-3 (HEI) to Over 1.5.
Last season Heidenheim won 2-0 at home and they drew 3-3 in Stuttgart. The extra day of rest and slumping form of Heidenheim should point to a Stuttgart win or maybe BTTS. Or simply Over 1.5.

Villarreal vs Real Betis Prediction
5th Villarreal hosts 11th Betis here.
Villarreal is much more an Over team, with games averaging 3.5 GPG and being 11-4 to the Over 2.5.
Betis games are much tighter at 2.4 GPG and being 10-6 to the Under 2.5.
Villarreal’s last 2 games have been Unders though and they’ve failed to score losing 1-0 and 2-0 on the road. They’re back home here where they’ve scored in all games this season. In fact, home or away they’ve scored in 14/17.
Betis had lost 3 in a row but have now won 3-1 in CDR, and then drew 2-2 and won 1-0 in La Liga and then Conference League over Petrocub. So it will be a short turnaround having played on Thursday.
Last year both won on the road, Betis 2-1 and Villarreal 3-2 and prior to that it was 1-1.
It’s now 15 straight home games where Villarreal have scored, but … they have just 1 clean sheet if we look at all games this season. And only a 2-0 road loss to Sociedad is the only game Betis haven’t scored in 13. In 25 overall games they’ve scored in 20.

Parma vs Verona Prediction
These teams may only be 13th (PAR) and 18th (VER) but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a good game to bet. Specifically, if you’re like me and enjoy betting on goals. Verona’s games have seen the most GPG tied alongside Atalanta at 3.7 and Parma’s aren’t behind at 3.1.
They’re 12-3 and 10-5 to the Over 2.5 respectively and both 13-2 to simply Over 1.5.
For Parma, if you’d been better the BTTS & Over 2.5 or if you had a crystal ball and bet on a ton of 3-1 scores you’d be cleaning up. Their last 4 games have been a 2-1 win, 3-1 loss, 3-1 win and then a 3-1 loss last week to Inter.
In all Serie A games this season they’ve scored in 13/15 and allowed in 15/15.
Verona has lost 4 straight and 7/8 and in their past 4 losses have been outscored 13-2. In their league games they’ve only scored in 10/15 and conceded in 13/15 and 12 straight.
Parma is home and the better offensive team so I’d lean to a Parma win but both have conceded in nearly every game (28/30 combined) this season. This could be a good BTTS bet or to round out this parlay at decent odds, or simply Parma to score.
