SKC vs Indy Eleven Prediction
SKC is not a great team, 12th in MLS, but are coming off an impressive 3-0 home win over a decent team in Orlando this weekend.
Indy Eleven have been decent in USL, 5th in the East, but have tailed off of late with only 1 win in 9 league games. They’ve been shut out in 4 of those and have given up 11 goals in their past 4 games.
They’ve been the story of the USOC Cup though winning 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and 2-1. But only that last win came over an MLS team.
SKC has been improved lately at 6-1-4, but they too have only beaten 1 MLS team in the USOC, last game vs Dallas, they needed ET to win 2-1.
I’d have to take SKC to win at home vs a USL team but they’re not the most trustworthy team.

Seattle Sounders vs LAFC Prediction
It’s been a while since Seattle got the better of LAFC. LA won 2-1 in LA and 3-0 in Seattle already this season in MLS. Then in the Leagues Cup LAFC again beat Seattle, in Seattle, 3-0 again in the quarterfinals.
But go further back and other results are 1-0, 1-0, 0-0, 2-1, 1-1 and 3-0 for LA in other matches.
So LA is 7-2-0 outscoring the Sounders 16-3 in the past 8. It’s also just 1 goal scored by Seattle in the past 6 meetings.
That’s a tough trend to go against here. What could help Seattle is this is again in Seattle and LAFC just came off a big Leagues Cup Final loss on Sunday night and Olivier Giroud came off injured.
This is another chance at silverware so surely LAFC will be going for it, but there could be some tired legs. Seattle played this weekend too, away to Minnesota and won 3-2. In their last 25 games, Seattle has only 5 losses and 2 have come vs LAFC. In 15 games, it’s just 3 losses, 2 to LAFC.
LAFC is now 18-2-3 in 23 overall matches and have scored multiple goals in 17/23. They also had clean sheets in 4/7 tournament games.
I’d always expect LAFC to score but maybe this time the Sounders can get on the scoresheet too.
