Botafogo sits 8th in the Brazilian Serie A at 5-3-3, scoring 14 and allowing just 7. Last year they were league champions.
Botafogo are no strangers to tournament competitions and recent won the Copa Libertadores last year.

I see two decent defensive teams here and neither is lighting things up offensive either. Recent games notwithstanding, Seattle’s a good defensive team and despite being 8th in Brazil, Botafogo owns the 2nd-best defense.
With PSG and Atletico Madrid also in this group, neither of these teams are expected to advance. That would make this game a likely make-or-break match to get some points and hope for things to shake out favorably. Therefore, this could be tightly contested.
