The domestic leagues are winding down but there’s still lots to be decided. In this weekend’s soccer predictions we’ll cover 8 games in the EPL, Bundesliga and La Liga for our soccer picks and parlays.

Southampton vs Man City Prediction
20th-place Southampton will look to play spoiler to Man City who are 3rd, but are still not certain of a top 5 UCL finish.
City did only win 1-0 back in October in Manchester but I’d still expect them to win.
In Southampton’s best chance at a win in months, they couldn’t even score vs Leicester last week, a team that has conceded multiple goals to basically everyone.
That makes Southampton winless in 12, with just 2 wins in 28, Ipswich and Swansea in the FA Cup. They’ve given up multiple goals in 9/11 recent games.
For all their struggles, City are finishing strong, undefeated in 9 (7-2-0) and coming in winners of 5 straight by scores of 5-2, 2-0, 2-1, 2-0 and 1-0.

Wolves vs Brighton Prediction
Two teams basically settled around mid-table meet here with 10th Brighton and 13th Wolves.
They’ve played twice this season and both were shootouts. First a 3-2 Brighton win in the League Cup and then a 2-2 draw in the league.
Wolves had been one of the hottest teams in the Premier League undefeated in 7 and winners of 6 straight but hit a roadblock losing 1-0 away to Man City last week. That also stopped a run of 13 games where the Midlands team had scored.
Brighton haven’t been in as good of form, winners of just 1 of their past 8. But they are undefeated in two, beating West Ham 3-2 and drawing Newcastle 1-1 last week. The BTTS is 5-0 and 9-2 in their recent games.
There is some concern 2nd-leading scorer for Wolves Larsen could miss out injured. His inclusion this weekend is unsure. I can easily see goals from both here but Wolves do have clean sheets in 4/6, 2/3 and have allowed just 1 goal in those 3 games.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach Prediction
Bayern can celebrate wrapping up the title last week when they host 9th-place Gladbach who are spiralling. Gladbach haven’t won in 5, with a 1-1 draw, losses of 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 a then last week’s 4-4 draw with Hoffenheim. On one hand, they’ve scored 10 goals in 4, on the other they’ve conceded 13 in 4 and 8 in 2.
Since losing to Inter in the UCL, Bayern are 2-3-0 (2-2, 2-2, 4-0, 3-0, 3-3). Just the Inter loss and an odd loss to Bochum are their only defeats in 21. The Over 2.5 is 8-0 and 12-3 in recent weeks.
They lost 1-0 to Bayern this season and 3-1 and 2-1 last year. The BTTS has hit in 6/8 between them. Simply Over 2.5 is 13-3.
It should be a party atmosphere at home celebrating a title win. Kane returns from injury and it’s Muller’s last home game for Bayern before he moves on.

Celta Vigo vs Sevilla Prediction
6th Celta aren’t going to make the UCL but need to hold off many teams for their spot in the UEL. Sevilla will probably be safe, but are only 6 points above Las Palmas in the final relegation spot.
It was just 1-0 Sevlla in Seville this season, snapping a run of 5 BTTSs between them.
For Celta, after 8 games undefeated, they’ve cooled off with results of a 2-0 loss, 4-3 loss, 3-0 win and then 3-2 loss last week to Real Madrid. Now with other losses to Barca and a scorching hot Espanyol, there is no shame in some of these defeats. They’ve still scored in 18/19 and at home have only lost 2/11. In fact, when playing at home, only twice all season have they not scored, vs Espanyol and Bilbao. Defensively though, they have only 3 clean sheets in 18 in all matches, home or away.
Sevilla are slumping to the finish line. They drew 2-2 last week with Leganes and have draws in 2/3 but have 0 wins in 7 and only 3 in 18. Their past 3 road results have been losses of 2-1, 1-0 and 1-0.
BTTS or Celta to score.

Girona vs Villarreal Prediction
Girona are in the same boat as Sevilla. They both have 38 points and are not secure for sure.
Villarreal are much closer to Celta’s situation. Up on 5th, they’re fending off Betis for the final UCL spot.
Girona has picked up 4 points in their past 2 games, as they desperately try to stay in La Liga. Last week’s win is their only win in 5 and they have just 3 wins in 18 games. Beating Mallorca, Andorra (CDR) and Las Palmas aren’t top opponents either. Shutting out Mallorca is their first clean sheet after conceding in 17 straight. They have at least scored in 9/10 but more than 1 goal only twice in 13 games.
I’d expect them to go back to conceding this week. Only Barca and Madrid have scored more than Villarreal. They scored 4 last week beating Osasuna 4-2 and are 4-2–1 in their past 7. In 4 of their past 5 they’ve found the back of the net.
This season it was 2-2 in December. 3/4 have seen BTTS and the Yellow Submarine have a great record vs Girona being 6-1-1 in recent meetings.
Could be another good BTTS or Villarreal to score.

Werder Bremen vs RB Leipzig Prediction
With 47 points and 2 games to go, Werder still could technically jump from 8th all the way to 4th as Freiburg have 51 points. In between those teams are Leipzig, with 50 points in 6th who are in a Conference League spot.
Leipzig haven’t won in 3 and are coming off a 3-3 draw with Bayern and a 4–0 loss the game prior. It’s been 7 games since they kept a clean sheet but they’vr also scored 3 goals three times in their past 5 games.
Werder aren’t great at home (12th overall) and have been outscored 26-21. But, they’ve not lost in 6 games, have clean sheets in 4/6, have scored in 9/10 and score mutliple goals in 6/8. Last week they drew Union 2-2.
Leipzig won 4-2 this season and goals between these teams are the norm. Both games were 1-1 last season and the BTTS is 7-0. There’s been 2+ goals between them in all 16 historical meetings.

Sunday soccer picks in the Bundesliga and La Liga.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
Neither of these teams are winning anything this season. Leverkusen are firmly in second. Dortmund are 5th, but can still jump up to the UCL spots being only 1 point back of Freiburg.
If Xabi Alonso is done with Leverkusen, potentially a candidate for Real Madrid, this could be his final home game though. For all the success this team has had they’ll surely want to go out on a high. And Leverkusen have been in top form despite not being able to catch Bayern Munich. They’ve lost only 1 game, in the Pokal across their past 8, only 1 Bundesliga game in 30, and just 2 all season.
In all comps, Leverkusen have clean sheets in 3/5, but only 3 in 12.
But Dortmund is on fire as the season closes with only 1 loss themselves (UCL to Barca) in 8 games and come in undefeated in 5, with 4 straight wins of 3-1, 3-2, 3-2, and 4-0. They’ve scored multiple goals in 7/8 as well.
Leverkusen won away in Dortmund 3-2 in January and last year both games were 1-1. I can see goals from both again. Leverkusen at home in their final home match, should score, but they’ve also not shut out Dortmund in 16 meetings.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Prediction
Round 4 of El Clasico kicks off on Sunday with Real Madrid looking to avoid an unlikely 0-4 record on the season.
First it was 4-0 Barca in the La Liga. Then 5-2 Barca in the Super Cup. Then most recently on April 26 a 3-2 Barca win in extra-time in the Copa del Rey Final.
Neither come in with great spirits. Madrid clinging to an unlikely chance at the title, 4 points back of Barca with 4 games to play. They’ve won 4 straight in La Liga but just 4 in 9 overall games. Last weekend they edged out Celta Vigo 3-2.
Barcelona will be dissapointed to have been moments away from reaching the UCL Final, before giving up the lead and losing 4-3 in ET to Inter on Tuesday. It was a wild semi with both games ending 3-3.
That loss and one to Dortmund are their only defeats in 31 games.
No one stops this Barca attack, but most teams can exploit it for at least 1. With the title on the line there’s no reason to think this won’t play out like every other Barca game. Goals
