The Europa League Group Stage is winding down with 2 Matchdays left and we’ve reached Matchday 7. Let’s get into 2 parlays covering 6 games for Thursday’s Europa League predictions and parlays.
Europa League Picks and Parlays #1
Fenerbahce vs Lyon Prediction
It’s been a mediocre 6 games for Fenerbahce in the UEL, being an even 2-2-2, sitting 21st, they can still move up to the top 8 and drop out of the top 24. With 7 goals for and 9 allowed, their games are seeing a lower total at 2.7 GPG.
Lyon are flying at in 4th, at 4-1-1, scoring 15 and allowing 7. The 15 goals for are the 2nd-most behind Galatasaray who already played this week. That’s helped push their average GPG in the UEL to 3.7, the 2nd-most.
Fener may be struggling in Europa, but in Turkey they’re 2nd and have piled up 49 goals in 19 games. Only twice across 30 games in all comps this season have they not scored, and only once in 6 UEL games and vs Bilbao, always a tough defensive team. But in 10 continental matches they’ve yet to keep the ball out of their net.
The way Lyon has been scoring I see them getting on the scoresheet but away from home they have 1 clean sheet in 9 and have given up multiple in 3/4.
Both teams have some key absentees. Fener defender Muldur is suspeneded and starting keeper Livakovic is injured. Lyon’s leading scorer Lacazette is injured and they’d seen several players leave in the January transfer window including Caqueret, Jeffinho, Orban and Lopes, though non are among their top scorers.
- Europa League Predictions: Both Teams to Score
Hoffenheim vs Tottenham Prediction
Hoffenheim has been having a terrible time in Germany being 15th. They just got their 4th win of the season this weekend and it was vs 17th place Kiel. That snapped a run of 9 games winless in all comps and leaves them with just 3 wins in 17. Scoring 3 vs Kiel was rare, as they’d scored just 3 goals in their previous 9.
But the shaky Tottenham defense missing players to injuries could help them to continue to see an uptick in the offense which saw Kramaric score 1 and Hlozek 2 this weekend. Tottenham could potentially be down to Brandon Austin in net who only has 1 start with the team.
In the UEL, Hoffenheim have also struggled being 1-3-2 and 26th. Since a 1-1 draw and 2-0 win, Hoffenheim have gone on to lose 2-0, draw 2-2, lose 3-0 and draw 0-0, so the goals haven’t been flowing in Europe either.
Spurs are struggling in the EPL as well, almost as bad being 15th. It was a 3-2 loss to Eveton this weekend but they were down 3-0. They lost 2-1 to Arsenal the game prior and only have 2 wins, 8 (EFL Cup Liverpool and FA Cup Tamworth in ET), and 4 wins in 15.
In the UEL they’ve been much better at 3-2-1, sitting 9th, but they haven’t won any of their past 3, losing 3-2 to Galatasaray, and drawing 2-2 and 1-1 with Roma and Rangers.
These teams have a ton of missing players. Hoffenheim as many as 9 listed as injured and Spurs also with 9 injured and 3 ineligible. I don’t trust either but Spurs have at least been OK in cup competitions of late.
- Europa League Predictions: Over 1.5
Bodo/Glimt vs Maccabi Tel Aviv Prediction
Norway’s league champs Bodo/Glimpt are 13th in the UEL at 3-1-2 and will be hosting Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv who are 27th at 2-0-4. However, they did win their past 2 UEL games 3-1 and 2-1, meaning they’ve conceded in all 6 UEL games. Look at all comps and they’ve conceded in 13/14 and 17/19. But offensively they’ve scored in 15 straight. The BTTS & Over 2.5 bet has gone 5-0 and 9-1.
Bodo’s UEL games have seen plenty of goals with scores of 3-2, 0-0, 2-1, 2-1, 3-2 and 2-1.
They struggled to end 2024 but won the league title on December 1. They then won in the UEL on December 12 and have only lost 2 friendlies since so could be rusty.
Win or lose though they scored in 23 straight home games as well as multiple goals in 14/15 recent home games. They’ve been inconsistent of late but the cold, home turf of Norway is always a big advantage. With Porto on deck for Maccabi in the final matchday and them played several games in 2025 already, they could be sharper and will want points from this game too.
BTTS certainly looks in play here or simply Over 1.5.

Europa League Picks and Parlays #2
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Ferencvarosi Prediction
Frankfurt sit 6th in the UEL standings, 4-1-1, but their 1 loss was last round, losing away to Lyon 3-2, snappong an 18-game undefeated streak in the tournament over past seasons. Frankfurt has scored in every UEL match and multiple goals in 4/6.
Frankfurt ended 2024 at 0-1-4, but have been rejuvenated in 2025 winning 1-0, 4-1 and 2-0. Their last win came despite top scorer Omar Marmoush departing for Man City. That means Hugo Ekitike is the unquestioned top man up top now and has goals in back-to-back games.
Only twice in 27 games all season have Frankfurt not scored so that looks a given here. You’d expect them to score at least 2 and probably win.
Hungary’s Ferencvarosi has every chance to move up to the automatic qualifying spots and just as much a chance of not advancing at all. They’re 16th at 3-0-3. Their last 3 games have been high-scoring, winning 4-0 over Dynamo Kyiv, winning 4-1 over Malmo and then losing 5-0 to PAOK. Those 5 goals equal half the 10 goals they’ve conceded.
Ferencvsrosi are second in their domestic league but haven’t played a competitive game since December 15 and drew 0-0 and lost 1-0 in two friendlies since. I may think they could be rusty here. Count all games, friendlies included and they’ve scored only 2 goals in 5.
But in the UEL overall, the 3.5 GPG for Ferencvarosi games are the 4th-highest.
There is a wildcard to consider though with head coach Pascal Jansen leaving for MLS and Robbie Keane getting his first game as manager here.
- Europa League Predictions: Frankfurt double chance
Manchester United vs Rangers Prediction
These teams are side by side in the UEL table with Man U 7th at 3-3-0 still yet to lose and Rangers 3-2-1 just 1 point back in 8th.
Both have seen a fair amount of goals in their games with 3.3 for both.
Man U has scores of 1-1, 3-3, 1-1, 2-0, 3-2 and 2-1. So BTTS is 5-1. In their past 17 UEL games Man U has only lost once.
But overall, it’s a different story, with a historically bad season in the EPL and in all comps only a 3-1 win that came late in the game vs Southampton and a PK win over Arsenal in the FA Cup are their only wins in 8 and they’ve conceded in 12 straight.
Rangers scores have been 2-0, 4-1, 4-0, 1-1, 4-1 and 1-1. So BTTS is 4-2. They’ve been decent in this competition with only 2 losses from 12 over the past 2 years.
Rangers are 2nd in Scotland but 13 back of Celtic so are unlikely to get the title. So this could be a spot they go all in for. They come in winners of 3 straight, undefeated in 7 in all comps and have scored in 22 straight games. That includes a 1-1 draw with fellow EPL side Tottenham last round, though it was in Scotland.
The BTTS (-125) or just Over 1.5 looks good here.
- Europa League Predictions: Over 1.5
Lazio vs Real Sociedad Prediction
A premier matchup between teams from top leagues, Italy’s Lazio, 4th in Serie A hosts Spain’s Real Sociedad 7th in La Liga.
In the UEL, Lazio sit atop of the 36-team field at 5-1-0, scoring 14 goals and conceding only 3. Pedro has 6 goal involvements and while he had been injured, looks set to return.
Soceidad are 12th, 3-1-2, have scored 10, and only given up 6 goals in their 6 games. They’ve kept 2 straight clean sheets in the UEL but have conceded in all 3 road games.
And that’s what I’ll bet on here, simply Lazio to get on the scoresheet at home. They’re always capable of scoring, but Sociedad keeps things tight and this could be lower scoring, maybe 1-1. Lazio’s scoring has cooled off of late but only twice in their past 21 home games in all comps have they not scored.
- Europa League Predictions: Lazio to score
- Parlay Picks: EF double chance / MNU vs RAN over 1.5 / LAZ to score (-121)
Elfsborg vs Nice Prediction
Here’s one more bonus game preview. Elfsborg are holding down the final qualification spot in 24th at 2-1-3 and they’re hosting Nice, who are second from bottom in 35th, still winless at 0-2-4. The 14 goals allowed are the 2nd-most.
Elfsborg could be rusty having not played a competitive game since their last UEL game beating Qarabag 1-0 on December 12. Their only game since was a 2-0 friendly loss on January 16. But, in competitive matches, it’s still just 1 loss in 7. But the Swedish league wrapped up way back in November and they were just. Since that time, they lost leading scorer Michael Baidoo who had 10 league goals and was involved in 8 UEL goals. He’s off to Plymouth Argyle.
At home, in any match, they’ve scored in 27/29 matches going way back to October 2023. Go further back and it’s home goals in 37/40.
Nice’s airtight defense is not what it once was. Nice’s 25 goals allowed are the most among any of the top 8 teams in France.
They lost 2-1 away to Lille this weekend, their only loss in 6 games, but they have allowed a goal in 12/13, only shutting out lower-level side Bastia in the Coupe de France, have given up multiple goals in 9 of those 13 and season long have conceded in 22/26.
It feels odd to be lining up on the underdogs Elfsborg a team with the least possession of any in the UEL so far, but then Nice have just 1 UEL win in 15 and with next to no hopes of progression, this could mean more for Elfsborg.
