Let’s dive into this weekend with today’s best soccer picks and parlays covering the Premier, La Liga and the Bundesliga for this week’s soccer predictions today.
Soccer Picks and Parlays #1
Two games on Saturday in the EPL and Bundesliga.
Brentford vs Newcastle Prediction
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it and that’s bets on Brentford Overs.
This week they went over the 2.5 total again losing 3-1 to Aston Villa.
Overall the Bees’ games average 3.8 GPG. But at home is where that trend really stands out even more their games average a crazy 4.9 GPG, nearly a goal more than then next highest, Wolves at 4.1.
In all comps the Bees have just 1 home loss in 15, none in 9, the BTTS & Over 2.5 is 8-2 and BTTS is 10-0.
Newcastle’s games are much lower-scoring, except for this week where they played Liverpool in a wild 3-3 draw.
Overall the 2.4 GPG in their matches is actually among the lowest in the league. But this just comes down to me fully expecting Brentford to score but not trusting they’ll keep the ball out of their own net either.
The most recent meeting between them was in May, in Brentford where Newcastle won 4-2 and 3/4 meetings have seen BTTS & Over 2.5, with Newcastle winning 5 straight and all-time being 7-1-1.
- Soccer Predictions Today: Both Teams to Score
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
Gladbach lost 3-1 to Freiburg last week which halted a run of 5 games undefeated. They’re now also 4-2-2 in their past 8 league games.
Only once in that time have they not scored and only twice in 12 overall Bundesliga games. They do have clean sheets in 2/3 but only in 4/12 overall.
They could find some success here at home to Dortmund who are the one of the league’s worst road teams at 0-1-4 while being outscored 12-4. Even newcomers Kiel have a better road mark.
Despite that poor road form, look at all comps and Dortmund come in with good recent form too being 4-1-1. In 19 overall games this season they’ve only failed to score twice and none in their past 6.
The last 4 scores between them have been 2-1, 4-2, 5-2 and 4-2 with Dortmund winning the past 3 and scoring 2+ goals in 9/11 meetings between these teams. But they do have a big Champions League meeting with Barcelona coming up on Wednesday.
In the battle of the Borussias, I’ll bet on at least a goal from both.

Soccer Picks and Parlays #2
These soccer picks take place Saturday and Sunday in La Liga.
Las Palmas vs Real Vallodolid Prediction
While only being 14th overall, you’d still have to lean toward a home win for the team from the Canary Islands, hosting last-place Vallodolid who have been leaking goals all season giving up 32, scoring just 10 and owning easily the worst goal-differential of -22. Next worst is Espanyol at just -12.
Away from home Valladolid is 1-0-6 and have been outscored 20-5.
They claimed a 4-2 extra-time Copa del Rey win on Tuesday vs lower-tier side Real Avila with Marcos Andre scoring twice, but their last 2 La Liga games were 5-0 and 2-0 losses. In 14 recent league games they have 1 win, vs 16th-placed Alaves. After last weekend’s 5-0 thumping by Atleti, Paulo Pezzolano was sacked, replaced by interim Alvaro Rubio who got the win in his first game in charge in the Copa del Rey.
Las Palmas played a lower-tier team too in Europa in the Copa del Rey and won 2-1.
They come with high spirits, having upset 1st placed Barcelona in Barca last week 2-1. They’re 6-0-2 in their past 8 have scored in 7/8 of those games and in 6/7 overall home games this season.
- Soccer Predictions Today: Las Palmas to score
Girona vs Real Madrid Prediction
Both played Wednesday. Girona in Copa del Rey away to lower-tier Logrones where they drew 0-0 and lost in PKs. And Madrid away in Bilbao in league play where they lost 2-1, the first time they had lost to Bilbao in years.
Overall form sees Girona now winless in 3 games while Madrid have also dropped 2 of their past 3 games.
Girona did win at home in this matchup back in April 2023, but the 2 meetings last season saw Madrid cruise to 3-0 and 4-0 wins.
Madrid hasn’t lost back-to-back league games in La Liga since May 2019, and you’d expect a response here.
This is a big game to keep pace with Barcelona in the La Liga standings, but they are only in the final playoff spot for the Champions Leagie too and have a big match away in Italy to Atalanta next week to look ahead too as well.
- Soccer Predictions Today: Real Madrid double chance
Athletic Bilbao vs Villarreal Prediction
Bilbao played in 1/2 La Liga games this week at home to Real Madrid on Wednesday and got a rare win over Los Blancos 2-1.
Villarreal also played Wednesday but in the Copa del Rey vs Pontevedra where they were shocked in s 1-0 loss where they were badly outplayed, albeit with a rotated squad.
Bilbao haven’t lost in 10 games in all comps, have just 1 loss in 17, have won 4 straight, scored in 19/21 overall games this season and in 35 home games across all comps they’ve lost just once, 1-0 to Atletico Madrid.
Villarreal had scored multiple goals in 5 straight prior to Wednesday’s Copa del Rey loss and in 16 games in all comps have only lost to Real Madrid and Barcelona, now also Pontevedra.
Head-to-head they drew the last meeting 1-1 in Bilbao and Bilbao won 3-2 in Villarreal. The BTTS has hit in 7/8 and Bilbao has scored vs Villarreal in 8 straight.
Games involving the Yellow Submarine are usually goal-fests at 3.6 GPG, the 2nd highest. But then Bilbao’s average only 2.4.
So it’s tough to see which way this one tilts. But in Bilbao I’d lean towards Los Leones. Or at least for them to score in this parlay as in Villarreal’s 16 overall games they’ve conceded in 15

Soccer Picks and Parlays #3
Sunday in the EPL wraps up our soccer predictions this weekend with two games.
Leicester vs Brighton Prediction
Two more EPL teams here that see plenty of goals in their games.
Leicester’s are averaging 3.4 and they’re 10-4 to Over 2.5.
On Tuesday, they had a 1-0 lead at half versus West Ham, but allowed 20 shot attempts in the first half, the most the Hammers have ever had in a game ever. And with a few minutes left, West Ham had 29 attempts, tying their most overall in a game ever and they finished with 34. But despite all that it was 3-0 Leicester until a late Hammers goal made it 3-1.
They’ve scored in 13/14 and conceded in 13/14. The BTTS is 12-2 and the BTTS & Over 2.5 has it in 3 straight.
Brighton’s games are averaging 3.4 GPG and they also played in a 4-goal match this week, but lost 3-1.
They’ve scored in 13/14, conceded in 11/14 and the BTTS is 11-3 while hitting in 6 straight, plus BTTS & Over hitting in 5/6.
- Soccer Predictions Today: Both Teams to Score
Tottenham vs Chelsea Prediction
This London derby saw Chelsea win 4-1 and 2-0 last season. Someone has scored at least twice in 5 straight with other scores of 2-0, 2-2 and 2-0.
This season, Chelsea played Southampton Wednesday and routed them 5-1, though Southampton did take an early red card. And Tottenham played Bournemouth Thursday and lost 1-0. So the Blues will be slightly more rested here by a day.
I struggle to not see goals in this game. Both are among the league leaders in goalscoring and xG. Chelsea lead all teams with 31 goals scored and are also 1st in xG.
And Tottenham who were 1st in scoring after last weekend, but now 3rd, are 4th in xG.
When it comes to shots on target Tottenham are 3rd and Chelsea 4th.
Overall, Spurs have scored in 11/14 and conceded in 11/14 as well. The BTTS is 8-6.
Chelsea have scored in 13/14 and 13 straight EPL games and conceded in 11/14. The BTTS is 10-4.
